Yes. Forza 4 came after GT5. Turn10 acquired the rights. PD gave up the rights to make it, or didn't bid high enough to retain said rights IDK. Just because they had it first doesn't mean they are allowed to continue to use it forever. These things are usually temporary.

Sadly it's highly unlikely, as (previously mentioned) Turn10 have all the rights to include the track. In the next series of games it might be included, but that quite hard to predict. :)

In the world of business, including the gaming industry I don't think the rule of "But I was there first" counts for anything.... That's 4th year Primary School politics.

Exclusive or not, if it was in GT5 and it isn't in GT6 it seems highly unlikely it will be. I've logged about 3 hours of GT5 gameplay and had no experience with any of the others, but are there any tracks from earlier games that made it to GT5 in updates rather than at time of release?

Wait for GPS track maker. Get yourself some tickets to the show (I hear the waiting list isn't long ;)) and sneak out for a cheeky lap! Perfect! What could possibly go wrong?

Can you provide a source that states that Turn 10 has the exclusive rights for the Top Gear Test Track? Last I heard, BBC aren't allowed to do exclusive licensing. So do you have anything to back up your claim? Getting real sick and tired of all the people who claim Turn 10 has exclusive this and that, just because a certain car or track isn't in another game at the time.

Could you take yourself down a peg?
Taken from the Forza 5 features list -

"Top Gear Exclusives"

:confused::odd:

It mentions nothing about T10 have any exclusivity to TG other than the features listed in those few sentences. It makes sense for T10 to have exclusivity of features, recordings they made for their own game.

I really really miss this track, It was my test track in gt5, It was perfect for testing as it was a good track for consistency, I cant find any track to test on in gt6 to my liking for testing, , It was also the track i used online to wait for all my buddies to join and warm up before the nights serious racing got underway, Shame its unlikely to be back

EDIT: I see a few people saying its not a good track for racing, No not with a full grid and a longer race, But a 4-5 lap race with 3-5 of your friends its a fun track to race on and no danger of crashing at the cross section

As much as the above post is true and as much as I used it for testing cars in 5, I can't say I miss it. If it came back (probably won't :guilty:) I'd use it again but I'm not too fussed either way. At least we've got Goodward :mischievous:. It's not the same, but as a location and as a spectacle, it's better I think.

I put this on another forum but it also fits here.

After weeks of waiting for something new on GT5 or 6, out of boredom, I went into GT5 Arcade mode and found out in 3 laps I could knock down ALL of the cones on the Top Gear Test Track and still win the race!
Try it. It will brighten your day while waiting for PD to add something. Cones were flying all over the place! Guaranteed to make you smile.
So, the GT6 "Coffee Breaks" were good training for something.
