Citroën annexation will continue with 5 cars next year, two for Sebastian Loeb Racing... But Loeb will continue with the works cars.

It's so we can get 5 Citroens in Q3, just what we were all hoping for!

I think TC3 is going to be very enjoyable next year. TC3 more affordable and probably much closer door2door racing.

Volvo wants to enter WTCC as well...

And so begins the slow, painful demise of WTCC.

What do you mean begins? WTCC has been going downhill for years.
Should've said "continues". This is just another blow. Take out the TC2T cars that have been packing out the grid, take out a few more drivers... there's not going to be many people at all next year.

TC3 is looking more and more promising.

TC3 is looking really good and if they pull off a great field with different manufactures and easy accessible broadcasting on the internet it could be an instant hit. With Engstler signin up I wonder if ROAL is going to stay in WTCC or if they give it a shot with Coronel as well in TC3.

I saw the calender of TC3 and it looks really nice. I wonder how this series is going to be recieved early 2015?

I think Nick is just not good enough for BTCC and besides, the results of Lewis have nothing to do with Nick's career.

Doesn't have to be the BTCC. Any series where he can also maybe try to be successful. I wouldn't care if it was lawn-mower racing so long as he can carve out a career for himself and have the share of the media spotlight.

Oh great, because tracks designed for Formula 1 cars work so well with touring cars /sarcasm.
They do, however, work very well when it comes to establishing the series international credibility in the face of a bloated and broken WTCC series.

I am away for what seems like only moments and a wealth of new and shock news has hit me on TouringCarTimes. Both Jason Plato AND Sam Tordoff have left MG who will have new sponsors with Sam joining WSR who have lost eBay sponsorship. Andy Wilmot will race for Welsch Motorsport and Euotech Racing have announced Jeff Smith with no news on Andrew Jordan.

Wow!

Not to mention Turkingiton looking at other teams and Honda/Dynamics still not confirmed.

I really hope he stays in the BMW. If he joins 888 in the MG he won't win the championship next year.

If he's not in the BMW I think a Honda will win it.

Turkington in an MG? Takes me back to the good old days. :D

No TCR thread? I'll leave this here then, first picture of the Civic TCR

National and regional TCR series have been confirmed for Portugal, Italy, the United States, Asia and Benelux.

I meant in terms of livery. Golden yellow and metallic orange.

I really like the Citroen :O

I agree that Lada livery is horrid. The base car isn't up to much though, the orange bits near the arches are actually indented and they've followed the line for the livery

:yuck:
