Looking forward to the German round and see what the racing is like but expecting carnage.

Only 1hr to go, looking at the webcams the conditions are looking really good.

Edit, Here comes the rain :nervous:

Sure does.

I know he will qualify last every week then crash in each and every race but at least it's a more credible entry than some of the other backmarkers. Namely the Infiniti's, the Flintstones-engined Proton's and the annoyingly growing group of beggars (If you take up touring cars as an hobby - only making it on TV when you bring out the safety car - you shouldn't be asking the fans to pay to fix your damage).

Is it bad that every time I see TCR articles where the Seat drivers are complaining about the Honda. I can't help think of BTCCs Chevy vs Honda incidents :p.

The Seats can't complain, the Hondas completely drop off after the first few laps.

I see Nicky Catsburg is driving in the Lada at Slovakia.

He used to be a active member of a forum I used to be a regular in, did the whole Open wheel route after getting some backing after a short drifting career in Netherlands, ultimately he didn't get far when Bottas Dominated the F2.0 NEC championship as his team mate, but moved to Renault Trophy afterwards(when it was a Support catagory to F3.5) and won the championship on Debut, been in GT since.

I think this would be his first time in a Car by himself since the Meganes, he might good bet if Lada keep him on.

He debuted in Moscow. Put in a stellar effort. Lada 4th, 5th and 10th, so a great chance for a podium and win.

I remember talking to him in his stellar Megane season saying to consider the touring car route as he showed soo much promise in his first season in a Tintop, ultimately though he didn't have the budget to have a choice in the matter afterwards, but he said his ideal drive would be to get a good seat in WTCC or BTCC, happy to see he has alteast a chance to show something.

Edit: it was actually his second season, i remember that he said the 2009 season was a complete disaster as the team was in shambles and couldn't even make the car last a race most times, he got offered a Tech 1 seat after going head to head with a few other drivers in a trial and he dominated 2010.

I've been reading up on the Birmingham Superprix recently. I'll just leave this here.

Just as contact was about to happen in the Clios, they cut away. That's some real ITV4-esque camerawork there.

Gonna go out on a limb with Audi.

Volvo
BMW
Audi

Yes please. As if the WTCC wasn't boring enough, Citroen's dominance is killing it.

If Audi and BMW join, we'll be seeing the first RWD TC1 cars. I wholeheartedly want TC1 to go 4WD, it echoes the early days of Class 1 so much in my eyes.
