That MG is disgusting. Looks like a mutated Citroen DS3 with a touch of Clio.![]()
Nothing wrong with a clio!![]()
Where are the saloons? The ZS?
I have one. Makes you feel horribly inferior but let me tell you this; I couldn't afford to buy any other car.
I had thought they would use the other new MG. The MG 7.
I imagine it should a bit better in reality.
Sounds like Motorbase may be running some kind of Focus still.
Last thing i'll say is I wouldn't rule out RML yet, even if its just a S2000/NGTC entry, I think they have something up their sleeve. It wouldn't surprise me to see Thompson fill a seat their if they do enter, after all his goal now is the WTCC.
Nash has been ousted from Triple Eight but looks set to announce something soon. He 'can't give anything away' according to his twitter. He drove for RML a few years back, maybe he is going there? I can't see Alex McDowell with RML but I hear he's off to join Frank Wrathall....
I dearly hope Nash finds a ride somewhere, along with O'Neill, Thompson, Onslow-Cole, etc.
Not to mention we still know nothing about WSR - what about Collard? And Foster? Lea Wood?
I'm assuming Jackson will stay at Motorbase with whatever they are doing. Presumably Michael Caine will stick around if he can find the budget too.
Lea Wood?
I dearly hope Nash finds a ride somewhere, along with O'Neill, Thompson, Onslow-Cole, etc.
Bad news but not a surprise
"Chevrolet and RML have today announced that they will not be involved in the 2012 BTCC, but will instead focus their resources on retaining their WTCC crowns where it is clear that other manufacturers will be upping their commitment for the coming season.
Chevrolet UK Managing Director, Mark Terry, commented: I would like to wish RML the very best for 2012, and thank our many fans for their support over the last two years.
RML Managing Director, George Lendrum summarised the decision: We understand Chevrolets decision to concentrate its motorsport programme on the WTCC in 2012. Despite the fact that we won't be involved in 2012, RML remain long term supporters of the BTCC and hope to be back in the future."
