There's a lot more to importing than just getting the car over here, unless you plan on using it only on the track and only in competitions that don't require street legal vehicles. Since the vehicle was never sold here, it was never crash tested to see if it meets the approval of the SAE. Also, it has never been smog checked by DOT. There are many reasons it cannot be licensed here in the States no matter how you get it over here. No, Motorex won't do it, it would cost them too much. It doesn't hurt to ask, if enough people ask maybe they will decide there's a market for it and decide to federalize it. Until then, you'll have to stick to drueling at pics.
ExigeExcel: Just because there are a lot of SUV's sold here doesn't mean there is no market for sports cars. Subaru discovered this early and that's why they've had so much success over here with the WRX. Now Mitsubishi is following suit with the Evo, and hopefully others will follow as well. It's not a matter of there not being a market here, it's a matter of car companies thinking there's not a market over here.
