I never bought GT3 (lack of vehicle selection was the main reason), but wasn't there a track in it that was quite long, had some pretty crazy turns and even some 90-degree turns as well? I'm trying to remember where I saw the map of it and what it was called...but regardless, thought it might be interesting to have that in.

Complex String? That thing was nasty... wish they just made huge "test pad"

LeMans.....Nurburgring.....and my old fave..... High Speed Ring......My head is going to explode.!!

I personaly wish there were less fantasy tracks and more real tracks like Monza, Hockenheim, Donington, Brno, Estoril, Catalunya, etc.

Cool circuits from F1, FIA GT.etc I enjoy a real track a lot more than a fantasy track, even if some fantasy tracks are fun.

See ya :sly:

I think Complex String is a fun track. Long, but technically interesting.

Does anyone know what the FIVE different versions of Fuji Speedway are? It lists

14. Fuji Speedway
15. Fuji Speedway '80s
16. Fuji Speedway '90s
26. Fuji Speedway 2005
27. Fuji Speedway 2005 GT

Seems a bit odd to me.

I just check the Fuji Speedway website. They're renovating it now, so that explains two of the versions. Does anyone know Fuji's history? Has it changed twice before?

Fuji in the 80s, Fuji in the 90s, Fuji in 2003, Fuji in 2005 (w/ chicane), and Fuji in 2005 (w/o chicane).

Exactly my thoughts. I am really dissapointed that Spa is not included. I'm quite sick of almost all the GT3 tracks except for a select few. To design a race track, it needs to be quite technical and interesting and almost all of the worlds tracks have been designed by famous designers (not any jo shmo) so it would be better if they included more real tracks than just the stuff we've been racing on for like 5 years (gt1,2,3...). I'd rather they drop all the old tracks (except Midfield & Trial Mountain) and include tracks like Spa, Donington (which I always thought will be included in GT4 :indiff: ) and other REAL tracks.
Just my opinion.

Heh, this is no full list but you cant expect everyone to use their heads.

But I would like to see more original tracks. Would be more fun to learn a track then race ones i already know.

Did anyone notice the comparison video on GTworld? They were comparing footage from GT (on PSone) to GT4! I would hope it looks better than the very first game of the series on a 10 year-old console!!

Nice list, although I'm really hoping they didn't scrap SSR11. Can't wait for the Japanese release so we can actually get an official track list.

Still waiting for

SSR11
Rome city course
Rome short
Seatlle short
Grindelwald
Red Rock Speedway
Green Forest (dirt)
Speedway (not test track, the other round one from GT3)

I know it are 8 more tracks than that list but i hope they are in GT4

the Interceptor
Would be logical, cause why would it be #1 if there was no #2? I don't think this is the complete list either.

Cheers,
the Interceptor

This is probably a guess, #2 (if it is true) could be the bugatti circuit. :indiff: btw it's cool le mans will be in the game. The bugatti circuit (for those that dont know) is a smaller track contained within Le Mans (sorry i dont have a map for it).

here it is

I hope they don't drop the Rome course...I actually enjoy racing that track in GT3 and would hate to see it get dropped in this version.

Oh well, guess we'll all just have to sit and wait! :-(

Hiya! :D :O  Meow! (='.'=)

Thanks RacingFreak2K3 for the track list! :O  WOW! I am very impressed with the variety of the tracks for GT4. Although there are still some missing like some people say, but I am hoping there would be more on the release. I have some feeling that PD decided to hide some of the tracks from us until we find out when we get GT4 in our hands! :O

I think there is a fine line between having a good variety and too many tracks. There's only so much time each of us has to play a game, and with too many tracks, we may never get to fully learn or even race a track. That lists looks just right IMO.

No problem...just happy to contribute to the community whenever I can.

Since it has not been discussed here at all, does everyone but me know what " 50. Kashiwa" is?

The only Google I could find was a name (family, street, a city near Tokyo).

Anyone?

MasterGT

Kashiwa is a small town in Chiba , which is north of Tokyo, its far for me to go there today, but the town has really narrow streets, so im guessing its a street track with nice scenery, becuase there are mountains u can see at the train station. who knows. but 2 and a half more days :)

looking forward to see the enhancements of tracks like autumn ring.. raced there a lot in GTconcept.. with small, underpowered cars.. just a couple of days, and then the guys with gt4 should post huge amount of screens, videos and info.. hopefully.. that is, if they still want their friends here at GTP to acknowledge their efforts.. interesting to see some surprises, track and carwise.. butterflies here, what about you guys..? :D but, it'll take weeks to see the final unlocks, right..? cause there's going to take some time getting through this game.. I suppose.. I'm astonished by the number of tracks.. 52...! and still more to come.. and reverse as well, at least at some tracks...

I'm very curious about that Kashiwa track. And im loving the list, but i doubt it will be the final version. I'm still crossing my fingers for the Complex String being in!
