Nice list, theres 38 courses listed not counting variations, 52 including variations and if the real tracks, drag strip and test track don't go in reverse like in other GT's were looking at 84 tracks including variations and possible reverse directions. I'm sure PD have said 100 before so a few extra tracks seem to be missing, probably a few more from past GT's (also why is El Capitan listed under original???:odd:), personally I'd like to see Red Rock vally speedway again and Grindlewald.

Even the biggest tracks only take ~20MBs. They could take a couple seconds off of the ending credits FMV to save that much space. It is much, much more likely that Granturismoworld's list is incomplete and has errors than Polyphony taking a completed track out.

I see le mans has a 1 next to it, hmm. Another version of le mans would be lovely, 60's version anyone :D Hope the bugatti track is in and what about the nurb GP track?

I really hope that its not an accurate track listing. I was really looking forward to driving at spa and other international tracks not included.
And also secretly hopeing they drop most of the old tracks as I am quite over them (except for deep forest and maybe).

This might be a stupid question but are any of the original tracks related to any in real life or even inspired by real tracks?

Heres another point, wheres that Nursnow course, that was quite diferent to the Ice ring, I think theres a couple more to be added. Also on another point, if you go into the VIP area and select screenshots, scroll down to the Ice arena section and read the comments, it hints at the return of the Tigra Ice race car, and possibly others.

Nursnow is now Chamonix.

also why is El Capitan listed under original???

Probably because it's a 'PD made' track, thus it's an 'original' layout. I think you are confusing it with 'original', in terms of being in the 'original GT'.

I think if people 'combine' all official PD releases of tracks (this new release, booklet and screenshots) and fill in the gaps (i.e. De La Sarthe '2') we'll be closer to the track list...

Now Le Mans is confirmed, what's our next most wanted track??? Spa? Bathurst? Monza? Hockenheim (old of course), Pikes Peak (full), ...

Sweet list of tracks. I can't wait to race on the Infineon sports car course. I've seen so much coverage of races on that tracks, I'm sure that I'll have no problem navigating through it. :D

I was expcting more rally tracks too, as for a welsh rally, they could just make one up with a welsh rally theme and name it after a welsh town, same goes for GB.

I expected more dirt tracks....

Wales Rally GB anyone? But I imagine the rights are held by other companies.
Actually Sony owns the rights to both F1 and the WRC, but either Polyphony didn't feel like using them, or the rights are only valid in certain regions so they can't be used in a globally released game like Gran Turismo.

We have cities aswell you know!

Thanks for that info 👍

I don't believe this is an official track list because if it were there should be an official car list as well.
It's on the official GT website, so you can be pretty sure it's official. But in my opinion it's not complete.

Actually a more realistic reason the F1 and WRC licenses arn't being used in GT4 is so that Sony canmilk them both and make seperate games for each, making people have to buy 3 games to get them all instead of just 1.

I say that is the final and complete list. 52 is more than enough. Save anything new for GT5. 👍

I noticed at the top of that page it said all the tracks could be reversed...after GT3 came out, I remember an interview with Kaz where he said he doesn't reverse real tracks, so I was wondering if that would change for this game....

I'm still crossing my fingers for SSR11 (GT1 ver) and Red Rock Valley....

I'd like RedRock (just because I'm so damn used to it :D) , but overall I like what I'm seeing. Some really nice exotic tracks this time around. Sounds like lots of fun. :)

noooooo where's Grindel??

That's some really weak advertising 👎

you make a good point about grindelwald. i do remember reading that ALL past GT tracks would be included, lets hope this is still the case as we've all waited way too long for the game to feel there's something missing. Even the worlds gratest advertising wouldnt stop us feeling dissapointed (for those who know that thread about the keys really cracks me up)

From what I can remember of Grindelwald, it seemed rather similar to Nürburgring in terms of scenery and layout (except smaller, obviously)....Same for Tahiti Road.

But RRV and SSR11 don't have equals or superiors present in GT4 yet, from my perspective.

At least we've got HSR!

But still, I wouldn't complain about having Grindelwald, Tahiti Road, Rome Night, and others back.

Hard decision^^ Spa or Bathurst, Spa or Bathurst, Spa ... ...

But i also think, that PD has left some surprises for us ;)
PD has never revealed EVERYTHING before release.

I never bought GT3 (lack of vehicle selection was the main reason), but wasn't there a track in it that was quite long, had some pretty crazy turns and even some 90-degree turns as well? I'm trying to remember where I saw the map of it and what it was called...but regardless, thought it might be interesting to have that in.
