Have a look on the PS Store, I'm pretty sure there's a 'Family' upgrade type thing on there that allows save sharing between accounts on the same PS3 👍

That's wrong...
The Family Upgrade is ONLY for cars-tracks that have been bought from DLC.

Keeping everything legit, the GT5 save is locked to the user account, so you can back it up onto usb stick, but cant share it with friends.

the only way to transfare a save i think is to have a jail broken playstation 3

not possible unless you have a hacked ps3

Not true.

It's easily do-able, with a standard spec PS3 and a piece of commercially available software running on a windows-based computer.

I won't post the link here, as I'm sure it may contravene some site rule that I'm not yet familiar with.

Please don't PM asking me, I'm only saying it "can" be done... go google.

FS, I got myself a 60GB PS3, the very 1st model and it uses 200W, one of the latest PS3, PS3 Slim 160GB uses 60W.

I hope my PS3 delivers the best performance of PS3's :(

I want to transfer my gamesave so badly, please make this possible PD pallie!

You don't need this software to do that.

All you need to do is create the same PSN ID + login details on your new PS3 as they were on your old PS3... they must be identical in every detail. Then you can use your old PS3 gamesave on your new PS3.

Sorry for double post

So I need to have:

1. PSN Login details

2. Same username for PS3 which gamesave was used on

So I only need these two things, not bank account details or anything else?
There is not much else detail to make identical?

I just want everything to be clear, so everyone else and me understands all there is to know about this.
You will be rewarded when I have succeeded in doing this :P
Thank you so much for your feedback pallie, I appreciate it!

Correct.

Essentially, you are recreating your old account onto your new PS3.

Gamesave files are locked to PSN accounts, not PS3s.

Make sure everything is exactly the same, usernames and passwords identical, pay attention to upper and lower case sensitivity.

Apart from that, it's straightforward. 👍
