I have some wood and clay for sale, please don't buy it.

That makes sense...not ... ;)

Looking at how much you're asking, you bet, I won't buy it! :p

db had a party to go to. He probably had more than his cranny could hold and didn't want to lose anything if he got raided. The solution to that is to put it on the market at an insane price until he gets back. He then removes is from the market and it goes back into his resources.

It works rather well. I've done it a few times with my and Carrera's accounts.

Indeed, neat trick.

It isn't proteced against raids thought.

Well, the son of a b!tch who keeps attacking me attacked me twice while I was asleep, so this makes it the 8th time I've been attacked by him.

And your cranny isn't set up why?

If he gets nothing, he'll stop. It isn't as tough as you guys are making it out to be. Set up a good defense, then shift to offense. It really is as simple as that, for now anyway.

We shouldn't keep getting his with losses. Spend your resources before you go to bed, level up your cranny to a decent capacity and you'll be fine. Why is that so tough?

If you keep thinking "I can't wait to kick _______'s ass," you'll continue to rely on offense and continue to get hit by raids.

Get it?

Be patient, not impulsive, if that is even a word...

1000th post! Houray!

Are you sure? The merchant takes it, isn't it equivalent to the merchant being enroute, and the merchant cannot be raided.

Sadly b is for brutus must have been desperate for wood as he accepted to buy 163 wood for 300 iron. :dunce: Dammit I could've used that wood.

I sent 200 of everything to Boombexus incase he needed to upgrade his embassy one more time.

my first attack is over. the muppet [i mean attacker] got nothing as planned [by me].

note to GT: it is backflip. he raided me with 16 clubswingers, so if you are trying to build an army, mind his force.

hunter attacked me with 14 clubswingers and stole 262 clay and 161 iron.

that just pisses me off.

i managed a shaky NAP treaty [i dont trust the fella] with my teutonic neighbour. his 16 clubswingers were a threat to my army. which is growing steadily at 8 units per day now.
by the end of this day i should have 10 of them ready to rumble. can't wait to unleash them, most probably on 2 person alliance who is near me and has less pop between 2 of them, than me.

@GT: Teuton in question is backflip. btw, are you still playing?

btw, to all of Romans who are building army :), i have loads of iron, i am willing to swap it for clay or wood. i will give 150 iron for 100 of wood or clay.

Many of you haven't posted in the are you still playing thread in the other forum, please do so immediately. Thanks.

Question - if you are notified of an incoming raid, is it possible to send your own troops out on their own raid so that they aren't wasted defending something the enemy can't get anyway?

I'm not sure, but I hope so. That's what I was planning on doing.

Yes, if your troops are not in your village when you get attacked, they will not die because the attackers killed them. You can even send them out of your village as reinforments for somebody else to protect them.

yey im in but i dunno wat the hell im doin!!

Bee, welcome to Travian. What are your coordinates? There isn't a player named "Bee".

If you need any suggestions, just ask. There is always someone around.

Bee, would you be the user - Suigi - on the forums? If so, please post so I can validate your account.

Nope, Bee isn't Suigi. Suigi is a friend of mine who used to post at GTP a while back.
