If you build another cranny, you won't be able to build a town hall. (or whatever the last building you can build is.)

Third cranny is completed and they still don't totally cover for level 8 ressources upgrades... Does anyone knows if players usually build a fourth cranny or leave room for other buildings? I only have 6 empty lots in my village.

Well, cranny is perfect at the beginning, but there is a time when cranny's become useless... 2 level 10 crannies should be enough, the next step are defensive troops...
A friend of mine in the german travian has several villages and his main villages have 1000 clay per hour, 1000 wood per hours etc EACH... two warehouses, everyone can keep 80000 res of everything... just to give you an example.... build troops !
Oh btw you can however build as many crannys as you like, because you destroy them with alevel 10 main building later....

I'm doing 3 lvl 10s and 1 lvl 1. I've got 2 lvl 10s, a lvl 8, and lvl 1. I'll research the Praetorians tomorrow and start building them. I reckon about 200 will protect me.

Does that mean that in English Travian I should start to build troops? I don't have ANY troops to speak of.
 
In 1 hour, Gewinnnix is going to be raided by yours truly. I can't wait.


I've launched the attack, on attack mode. 80 clubbers, 15 axefighters, 9 paladin vs. 30 phalanx and 30 swordfighters. They will arrive at 2:50am local time. :)

I'm just trying to build up resources before noob protection expires.
 
Cranny matters more
No sense in having resources if you let them go to witti, Alarich, rokki.

Funny, when rokki's farms started getting smart, he dropped in ranks.

Muahaha.

Nah, only 2-3 of us. A different 2-3 play the much smaller Spanish version too.

Yeah, you should... If you have 3 crannies you always have at least 2000 res as "insurence"... but if you watch the statistics of my friend I talked about, you can see that protecting 80000 or 160000 res is not possible with crannies.... start building troops....
