We've created Paragon for a few reasons:

To have one alliance that includes everybody here would cost a lot in ressources for the embassy, way more than having two alliances, so we separated the alliance in 2, and Paragon is the alliance for members who play more seriously while GTP is for casual players or ones that started playing later. We paid the necessary ressources to create the secondary embassy at GTP so that everyone can hop in.

Later when the costs of upgrading the embassy will be less significant, we'll most likely join the players still active at GTP and Paragon in one big alliance.

Also, the new GTP embassy will be ready in about 30 minutes. If you'd like an invite to the new GTP alliance (the other one didn't have an embassy, so it was constrained in terms of invites after Boombexus quit it) post here. You'll receive an invitation to the alliance, which is founded by a player named grandmacougar. This is an account which I sit. If you wish to have a leadership role in the new GTP alliance, formally (i.e. can control invitations, boot members, etc.) post that as well, and I'll assign you the position in the alliance.

There will be, at least until everyone quits the old GTP to join the new one. The new one is exactly like the old one, the only difference is the new one has an embassy attached to it now, so it's not constrained in membership, like the old (current) one is.

That is the ONLY difference.

there are NO requirements for the GTP alliance, all you have to do is ask to be invited and you shall be.


EDIT:

To quit your alliance click on stats, name of your alliance, options (at the top), select quit alliance, and save.

Aegnor from the CSoCSS alliance just attacked me. He lost all 12 legionairres and I lost all 11 of mine. I've asked him nicely to not attack me in future as it will cost him a lot more than he will gain.

Solid proof that a level 8 or higher cranny and just a few troops will deter most attackers. 👍

Of course I now spend days trying to build up my troops...
