What start time is best for you?

1. Did you enjoy the Super Lap qualifying format? What would you change?

I enjoyed it, but I'd prefer a longer 1. Q. Maby 15 min. The super lap thing was all good.

2. Do you agree with points being given out for qualifying?

Yes

3. What did you think about the start procedure used during this series? What would you change?

It worked very well allthough a bit time consuming.
Maby fastest first and no overtaking before turn x would do the trick?

Yep its a good idea adds a bit more compatition.

2. Do you agree with points being given out for qualifying?

Yes

3. What did you think about the start procedure used during this series? What would you change?

Running in staggerd formation and having the starting point on a straight. (doesnt have to be the start finish just depends on the track)

I agreed with qualifying and fastest lap points.
I also agreed with the super lap qualifying, but should be for the entire field, without a qualify.
That allow us to go strait for the start, without come back to the lobby, and give us a ready grid for the rolling start.
Cheers.

Congratulations to gknap on winning the third round from pole position! 👍

Incidents: The lap 2 incident between Akmuq and TAKITALA has been judged a racing incident; no further action will be taken.

I did not like the way several drivers disregarded the pit entry and exit rules (more so the entry rules), but no penalties will be given out.

Want to give a shout out to Sag for taking the time and making the effort to carry off this mini-series so professionally. Everything was well run, on time and organized. All the little details were taken care of and all we had to do was show up and race. Without guys like you, and Brandon and Punch and Ade and others, GT5 would be just another game. Thanks a lot:tup:👍

Ended up actually being a tight race between Knap and I as we were dead even over the last two races, the difference between us being the Trial Mountain Reverse result. In the end the GT-R's had a slight but undeniable advantage although it didn't appear so in early testing as I figured it would be neck and neck with the Vette, with the Lexus slightly behind. Luck of the draw and it sure taught me a lot about tuning 4WD cars, something I hadn't had much luck with until now. I've since gone back and adjusted a couple in my stable and shaved some time off in a couple of tests, even at 450pp on Sports Tires!!! It's been a real learning experience:idea:

"Incidents: The lap 2 incident between Akmuq and TAKITALA has been judged a racing incident."

I totally agreed, even if has me who finish in the gravel pointing in the wrong direction.
If i was all ready been thinking it is a racing incident during the race, after i saw the replay...

"no further action will be taken."
Dammed, i has expecting a million dollars compensation...

Cheers.

Thanks everyone for coming out and racing in this unique new mini-series. I'm really grateful, everyone was clean for the most part and fair when they weren't so clean. My job was so easy because of the quality of drivers that showed up to race. :)

There were questions about a sequel series and I can say there won;t be one in the immediate future. However, keep your eyes open for a Tri-Auto Cup 2, possibly in the fall or winter. It would be completely revamped, new cars on 3 or 4 new tracks.

That being said, I'm hopeful to make use of these cars one more time and I'm planning to organize a "short endurace" sendoff. I'm thinking a 1-1.5 hour race with variable weather and possibly day-night time change. The cars would have newly adjusted PP levels (Corvette back to 611 PP, decrease for the GT-R). The tracks I have in mind are Spa or La Sarthe. What do you guys think?

Dont worry about car unless you got a Spoon S2000 standard lying about in your garage.

Depends on the date and time, but my pink Z06 has gone to a person who likes his pink cars.

Well organized series. Good, clean and fair drivers. 👍 to Sagaris and fellow racers!

If the sequel of this will have the races taken place on the same timeslots (Sundays 20:00 GMT), I'll deffinitely be part of this again.

Liking the sound of that 1.5hr Endurance @ Spa aswell. :)

Dont worry about sending me a car, I've got what I need.
Cars that is... A "change oil on all cars" button would be nice:)

Nice photos Sag!

Clean drivers drive dirty with a bad host.
Forget the car offer.
Very interesting is that idea of a endurance race, but only in Spa.
Cheers my friend and congratulations for a excellent job.
