I tried to download the intro from the movie section and it only would play half then it would say that the media player encountered problems is there anyone that can help or has the file in an uncorrupted state.

If you don'y want to use an alternative media player you can download this AVI file fixer. AviFiXP :)

It rebuilds the index of corrupted or unfinished AVI files. 👍

It worked for me. :D

Hell, it told me to download DivX so I did, but it played with Windows Media Player, go figure ...

So anyways, what did you guys think of the intro, I thought the music was lame, but it never was any good in previous GT's. The Ford GT has to go, it should be something better, it feels like Ford payed them to put it on the cover and the intro. When you see some of the LeMans cars and the music picks up it's cool..

I'm fine with opera and all, it makes it have that "extremely professional" kind of a feel, I'm sure you folks know what I am talking about here, but when they hit those funky high notes, my ears shot, just like when your listening to a Spoon Civic hitting 8,000 RPM. Awful. :yuck:

But yet again, it will hopefully change for the US release. :dopey:

I think it's very neat for Polyphony to not have chosen a Japanese car. The Ford GT is a sweet car, anyways. The JGTC car from GT3 was different and I like the change. It's better than a typical R34 GTR or Supra etc. I think the Yellowbird would have been an excellent car as well, but it's not a race car. Ideas for a new intro car... I dunno. I can't think of any that match the appeal and speed of the GT with the beauty of it.

guess a lot of people dont like "moon over the castle" here? personally i liked it from the very first series been playing japanese of GT only... except for 3.... (so far)
