TT 35: Laguna Seca (SUSPENDED) & Chamonix West. [Post 1 for tunes!]

I'm happy to leave this debate where it stands but wont change my opinion... sorry đź‘Ž Maybe a bit harsh to label the whole forum as cheats that was unfair! but they don't have to keep popping in like flies to defend him as they will get told straight by me or another in the end :sly:

Wont post again in this thread unless needs must đź‘Ť Cya's in the next TT if it stays a clean event :cheers:

Certainly is a fair cut of that corner, would like to know how he managed to not get red time. If I cut that corner with just my two inside wheels I end up with red time :confused:

After seeing Amo's replay, he was on the razors edge between cutting it and not cutting the corner. Half of 1 tire was still on the curb so I guess it counts.

this band beginner know that everything I'm doing the game allows it private so why close your big mouth gay you never see on TT you even know what to say at the end trying to keep at least after you can open it anyway I cut or not you squeeze behind since we always see you ever do a top 10

I'm indifferent about whether you cut corners or not, but any respect I had for you is fast disappearing - you will not achieve anything with this sort of rant.
 
I posted this in one of the academy threads but seeing as this thread goes on and on, and probably feeds the kids in the academy, cool deal and thanks to the likes of amo đź‘Ť

You know, as I am one of the biggest opponents of corner cutting and wall banging, that cut at Laguna doesn't bother me that much. Its the blatent cut at Chamonix that pisses me off. To deliberately leave the track surface with all 4 wheels and completely short cut the corner is just out right exploiting the programming flaws of this game. I hope they fix the gaping short cut at the Top Gear Test Track before we have a TT there. Otherwise all these corner cutters will have a field day with that one, lol.

We have all said numerous times pd needs a better pen system, that's nothing new. I guess you figure that gives fair play to all cheating?

You honestly don't need a tune for the Elise RM to achieve gold. It's great right out of GT Auto.

Ok, change ride height some and toy with LSD, but it's ready to rock and roll.

Infact... My 2:03.1 is with a stock suspension and a slightly modified LSD.
 
I'm sure there are clean drivers at GTPL just as there are dirty drivers here. This is not GTP vs GTPL. If your conscience can cope with cutting, then do what the game lets you. If you want to drive within the limits of the track, then do so. Arguing with each other over who is right will get you nowhere.

Locking this for a while so that you can all calm down and quit throwing insults at each other.
 
Now, lets see if we can get back to discussing these TTs in a civil manner.
 
Yea, the Elise RM is absolutely brilliant with little to no tuning.

It's never good to search for a tune to cure your bad driving habits.

If you're NOT achieving times over the gold marker with the RM Elise, then your driving habits are in need of much work. It starts with braking, in my opinion, especially on Chamonix and other snow/dirt courses. Just keep at it! :)

Anyway, as entertaining as this thread has become, I have a couple or three suggestions....

1/Rename this thread "an endless/pointless argument about whether or not to cut corners"

2/Make a new thread for those that want to actually discuss the current TTs

3/Maybe the WRS organisers could make a parallel competition, with the same car/track combo as the current TTs, but only clean laps allowed, top ten replays submitted. Being top of that leaderboard would mean a lot more to the people who want to race clean, and the guys who can't stay on the track need not apply.
