Tuning exhaust and engine sound?

Anyone dared tuning the exhaust? How is the engine sound?

I remember in GT5 that the engine sound got horrible when you did, and you couldn't revert the tuning.

I remember in GT5 that the engine sound got horrible when you did, and you couldn't revert the tuning.

There are about 1500-2000 different answers to that question.

I think the samples are more or less the same as GT5, some are very bad, some are ok, some are good.
The main problem, still, is cars changing the fundamental impulse character with the different exhaust options.

Depends on the car. XFR sounds best stock, Scirocco R best with sports, and the 2000GT goes mental with racing exhaust.

I was surprised by the Lancia stock, the car you win and had a seasonal event.

Sadly odd some cars that sounded good in GT 5 got worse like the 68 RM Camero. It went from a great growl to a bucket of bolts being shaken...

Go buy a Shelby GT350 (the new premium) right now. It's amazing stock.

Corvette ZR1, Cadillac CTS-V, 2010 Camaro SS, Audi RS6 Avant, and some others sound much better with Semi Racing Exhaust. You give up a little power from Racing Exhaust, but the sound is much more realistic.

Chevy nova stock sounds awesome in my opinion, not an exaggerated v8 noise.

Boss 302 with racing exhaust sounds decent, better than stock

Commodore SS, semi racing exhaust sounds best

There is a pattern here if anyone noticed- I try to stay away from 4 bangers as they are usually the worst offenders in the sound department

I don't know if they changed certain sounds in 1.03 or some other update, or if I didn't notice it before- but I swear turbo sounds have improved. I was driving the XJ220 yesterday, and also the Fairlady Z 300 Twin Turbo and in low revs they sound amazing.

The only reason I noticed is because I could have sworn they had a generic bland sound before but it's probably just me
