Yeah, and if you could take a stock Smart and modify it like this.... wait a minute, what am I saying?:banghead:

Yea I think whats in GT4 and Prologue are already good examples. The Amuse cars, Mines, etc..

those are pre-modified from tuners already so i dont think we will be able to visually modify the likes of these cars.

i think the gt concepts, like the vipers, clio's etc are an example of the visual modifications we will be able to do to our standard road cars in gt5. wheels, hoods, spoilers, aerodynamic kits. which is a good thing! or like in older gt's there is just one (full-on) kit for each car, which is also still a very good thing.

Seriously ???? What a great way to ruin this car. Well it's an abomination stock but now it's even worst. The girl matches the car, they're both ugly.:D

Yea so what I'm saying is that I don't think they will put visual things in besides rims and maybe spoilers. If they did anything like body kits it would be something like the racing modification which would hopefully just make it look like the cars I posted examples of. :sly:

I am not sure if this has been mentioned but I think GT5 should have the option to name your tunes based on track, track type, driving style (drift, touge, touring, etc), and Performance Points. As well we should have the option to Copy then modify existing tunes. I don't know how many times I re-tuned a car never to get it back to where i liked it. Another great option would be able to share tunes with friends (and foes for evenly matched races).

The tuning in the entire GT series has been sorely missing of a few categories like Fuel Delivery (Injectors, Carburetors, Fuel Pumps, etc). I'd also like to hear my upgrades like a louder turbo spool, deeper tone when installing a racing exhaust, louder blow off valve, misfiring system, etc

hopefully individual parts can be applied... also putting certain parts on gives visual representation... Fully adjustable suspesion get shows visual changes in ride height... plus aftermarket (nonfictional wheels) are to be bought on larger than stock diameter.

To me the number one thing i wish they would include is body kits. (As long as it provides an aerodynamic advantage of course)

Haha, that car is usually parked on the same street as I live:D

The guy who built that car has even built his own Batmobile and other "movie cars".

Wondering if you will be able to build cars like this in GT5:)

Would be great to reduce unsprung mass ( brakes, exhausts, wheels, suspension etc ), aside from changing body panels & interior gubbins.

I doubt you can put carbon-ceramic brakes on every car in the game. Putting on larger metal rotors and calipers actually increases weight. Since you're moving the weight of the rotor further away from the center of the wheel.
I didn't know that a while ago when I installed 13.6" rotors and aluminum calipers in place of the stock 11" pieces, and my 1/4 mile times went down by .2s.

Not sure this is the way i'd like customisation to go, although everyone has the freedom ( get it? ;)) to create whatever they like.
This would probably only make sense if you could also add a perm to the drivers head and suddenly the "unnatural acting" driver modelling might actually serve a purpose. :sly:

( and yes, i'm hassling the 'Hoff )

If not already included in the game I would like to see DLC tuning companies where you can buy specific goodies.
