1/4 mile drag is getting boring, for those 1/4 turners should hop into a tunnel room and give it a try, we need more quicker and respected tuners in the tunnel. The hell with 1/4.

I know, it is getting kinda boring...

Yeah, there are a lot of fast 1/4 tuners, like me. But, once everyone figure out the gears and all, its all on the tree on one another. Same goes for tunnel, but its something new for me. My point is, 1/4 tuners shall try something new, and longer stretch.

I run the Tunnel when time permits, a good escape from Indy/Fuji

Also, are tunnel tuners more arrogant than Indy tuners?

Same for tunnel, the good tuners are tuning more cars then usual because the common cars are so evenly tuned. comes down to the tree.

I honestly think drag racing started in ssr7, it was the new long straight track when gt5 first came out

People then moved on to indy. Some names that pop up in indy look really familiar from when they started in the tunnel.

Now fuji is slowly getting popular

Yeah, that is some what right, but then again.. fuji is just a different track, 37m longer. Some say that is the real length of the 1/4 mi. stretch for gt5, sense we don't a " real drag stripe "

To me, its still aggressively boring at times.. TUNNEL IS WHERE ITS AT!

I run Indy'Fuji For me tunnel is boring.

Tunnel is boring because YOU make it boring, go find a good room get some cars out and have fun, at Indy if you get launch you've won 90% of the time right? tunnel is different because its also about top end and the thrill of reeling someone in or being reeled in yourself to see if you can squeeze the win!. don't knock it till you've REALLY tried it.

Just a suggestion use a larger variety of cars . All ss7 drag rooms the people are using the same cars GTRs enzos buggatis. Thats another thing that makes the ss7 rooms so boring.

We DID. d24fan was with us and we did some runs. It all depends on your taste, I guess. The only reason I am at Indy now is because when someone mentions "drag racing", people generally think about the 1/4 mile. But slowly, I'm starting to do both :D

As am I. Its fun. I meet new people and good tuners, most of them not from the US which we don't see much at Indy...

Haven't been to many SSR7 rooms huh? i went into 5 last night most of them driving JDM and muscle, just need to look.

You need to make sure that when you search, the filter is not only set for US but for ALL. I have made this mistake before... but now I find all the rooms.

I started at ssr7, and I have been in decent rooms, and I still find it boring. Not only that but even in the best rooms sometimes people will end up crashing in the tunnel and ruining a run which I find VERY annoying. I have a few cars tuned, and I will spend some time there when my friend want to do tunnel, but I will never go looking for a tunnel room on my own.

I run Indy'Fuji For me tunnel is boring.

I want to get into one of them, indy is more popular but i like the fuji track better.

2 different tunes though right? at least transmission. I know if i used an indy tuned car in fuji, the final gear will bounce off the limiter before the finish line.

Sucks transmission is one of the harder things to fine tune for a track.

On some cars yes, others I've noticed you have enough to get there. Indy is 370meters Fuji is 407meters, so you have 37meters longer to travel.

Also If you are just getting into 1/4 I would say go to indy because you will find more people there, but I do run a tournament every week at fuji.

i want to do something other than tunnel. i do indy sometimes but i would prefer to get into fuji but not many rooms running the 1/4 yet

i dont want to work hard tuning indy cars then the gearing be too short when i go to fuji lol

and true, some cars aren't geared to top out at the indy finish line

Settings aint the problem, its the actual tune.

The trial and error way of tuning a car to get your settings (mostly transmission) right for indy takes time, then going to fuji and its too short.

Thats each car, so if you spend time tuning at indy, your stuck there unless you want to retune again for fuji.

I am a tunnel guy so most my cars arent close to being tuned for 1/4 be it indy or fuji.

Just tune for Indy, then run the 1/4 at fuji, telling you. It will be ok :)

Will do that!

Hope to see you guys around, dont mind the 1/4 noob. Take it easy on me lol

Yeah no problem man, you are more than welcome to join any room I'm in.

Not really since I like the tunnel. Anyway, it was just a question. There are punks at Indy and Tunnel IMO.

Plenty in BOTH places. It just must be that I don't know where to find the good tunnel rooms yet.

The American rooms have rubbed me the wrong way. The Aussie rooms are fun with no drama (as of yet). Those are my experiences so far.
