I like the blowoff sound. With some cars it is a little too noisy though and it becomes annoying. Overall though i think its cool and id like to see it back.
The next tuned WRX or 200SX that goes past my place making that friggin' wastegate noise after midnight is going to a rock through its windscreen (and not a little one).
We should all just get one of these. Then we could listen to the sound of blowoff valves venting to atmosphere, even on non-turbo cars! What a wonderful world that would be...
Really. You ricers get obsessed about the stupidest things sometimes... I think the word 'phat' in your poll says everything that needs to be said on the subject.
If you need a BOV just to get a fix of that ricey goodness, drive the Lancia Delta rally car. That things purges so much air I thought there was something wrong with the speakers on my TV.
