I can answer that. I used it just recently. What it does is if you place some game files in there, it will convert them to a format so the editor will have proper images for various things. He just recently uploaded the resources, and you can download them here. Once you download them, just drop the files into the resources folder and run the program again. It should work just fine, and the editor will then have images for everything. 👍

Been meaning to update the FAQ's to address this.

Since you seem to have contact with him, could you ask about "GT5ResourceGenerator.exe"? There is a "Resource Generator" option in the Tools menu that I assume will generate images for all of the items from the GT5 game files, but when you click it, it says it can't find "GT5ResourceGenerator.exe".

I can't find any such tool anywhere online and right now I have no idea which helmets and suits from each set are which because they have no images. Also, scrolling through the item lists is broken and sometimes stops before the end of the lists.

Judging from the text I added in the special racing gear one "Install btn disabled as I'm not sure what this should contain.", it was definitely not correct. I most likely just added all the combo suits in the Racing Gear Pack.

For example, I had to close and re-open the editor several times before I could scroll all the way to the bottom of the list of helmets to give myself the Gran Turismo Official helmet. The first several times it would stop scrolling around the Warp Drive helmets and would not let me go any further, and a few times it got stuck even higher in the list.

Another thing I noticed is that I gave myself 5 different helmets from some sets (for example, I gave myself Desert Camouflage 30-34) and when I re-open my save now, it shows that I have 5 of the first helmet in the set (Desert Camouflage-01) instead of the actual helmets I gave myself. Haven't tested the save in the game to see if it gave me the correct ones or if just gave me 5 of the wrong one yet.

Also, here is the image of the suits missing at the bottom of the link I shared. Not sure why the image is broken on the Wayback machine but it's still actually on the server now even though that page is gone. The missing ones at the top we already know what they are because they're just the special suits.

I didn't make it, Razerman did. I just realized that the resource generator is not a part of the download for the editor. I thought it was, but I realized I had it in my folder for years now.

I missed this earlier, but I just tested it, and it works fine for me. I am not sure what's going on with you.
