Correction for Hyper Groove. He appears on Tuesdays, but he wont accept your challenge unless you race him with an American car. I chose the older Corvette.

I'll put that in. Thanks for your contribution.

i dont understand requirement for #153

Go into an area, race someone, but you must win. Then exit out, go back in, and race someone. You have to do this ten times in a row, without changing where you enter and you definitely can't lose in the series. It isn't really a problem, once you get the ten trips in and out of the circuit to get him to appear.

Somebody explain to me how the R#-C# thing works. I have read the faq, but it so vaguely explained that it practically leaves me in the same spot.

I want to try out one of those SL500 Mercedes, they'd be sic to trick out, but i'm sure it's one of those luxury cars that don't have any cosmetic parts.

#154 Radiant Storm - unsure of the requirements for him but he is easy to find and race

I think i may have discovered his requirements. I think you need to beat Team Alpha in Tokyo first. Because Im 70% done w/ the game, and I hadnt found or raced him yet, and I looked at his profile and it said somthing about him being good friends w/ the leader of Team Alpha, and I hadnt beaten them yet, so I went over to tokyo and beat them and as soon as i went back to Osaka he was there :)

i'm seeing that alot of you guys have a bit of a hard time doing the requirement thingy for the wanderes..umm try this out if u keep on gettin a battle cancel then just eject the disc
then challenge him, wait for the camera to rotate around the car, put the disc back in, and the race timer should start..i actually found this in gamefaq forum thank the person who post it and gamefaq:D :D

It isn't all that great, unless you swap engines, but even then it's a little slow off the line. That, and you can't change anything on the body.

I'll put that in with the unsure still on.

It has been posted before. Thanks though.

Ok, but I had problems racing Hyper Groove. I did need an american vehicle to race him. I had an Evo 5 and a Skyline R34 and he didn't like neither. Odd how that works.

Here's my contribution...
The Wanderer #270 Funabashi Hooligan Tokyo Pit Map!
Made it myself on my 2nd attempt to go to all the pits tonight. Beat him too.

There's 19 pits, I've labeled each one with a colored dot. The circles are simply the starting points.

Enjoy!

I'm going to need to try that again. I spent 101 miles going through all the pits in one night out (due to boredom). He still didn't show up, so I guess I missed one, but I don't know which one.

Just follow my map. I found that the best way to do it is to do the C1 outer, then the C1 inner, to get the whole C1 area done. Do the same with the ShinKanjou both ways, and with the wangan you can do wangan out starting from ShinKanjou, go all the way west, then up Yokohama to Yokohane then Yokohane all the way up to C1. Then just do the reverse. Then if you start at that Diagna(or whatever the place is, it's where I put the black dot), the pit is right where you start. So then just hit that one, exit, then go to where that guy shows up and he'll be there.

I did like 150 miles the first time trying to get all the pit areas. And ofcourse I did all of Tokyo the 2nd time.

Thanks MazKid. I'll try it that way. I'll probably have to draw out your map, too, just so I can cross out the ones I've gone into.

That's an awesome contribution MazKid. That's some sweet stuff. I like that map, but it could have helped me before I went around the map twice to get em all.

I have completed it all. I raced myself, and myself wasnt that fast. although I stuck with me and went through cars because I was a ghost, I wasnt hard to beat. I had me by about 2 seconds during the whole race. Even though now I have tons of cash and am able to put any engine in the cars. the thrill is gone. boo hoo:( :guilty: :indiff:

Thanks for the wanderer's requirements list!

But, I'm having problems getting several wanderers out based on the requirements provided.

1 - Rolling Master - I used a Toyota Trueno and slapped on the Rolling Guys sticker, but he always cancels my battle. How come?

2 - Glamorous Mami - I put on a sticker, but she still doesn't appear. Is there a specific car I should use?

3 - Drift Samurai - I put the APS sticker on several cars and tried racing it, but was cancelled every time. Why is that?

4 - S. Agata Cattle - I sold the ugly Skyline HG2000 GT-R, but she still doesn't appear. Any other requirements?

Also, is there a way to somehow speed up the time so that I don't have to wait hours for a wanderer to appear?

The requirements are not always true, so it's hard to say. Like for example: I didn't need an american car to race Hyper Groove, but toyomatt needed an american car to race hyper groove.....

Try changing the headlight style or color. Try also the taillights and blinkers.

2 - Glamorous Mami - I put on a sticker, but she still doesn't appear. Is there a specific car I should use?

Try the headlight and tailight color change. If it doesn't work still, try wheels, moving the sticker to the roof, or using an Evo 5

3 - Drift Samurai - I put the APS sticker on several cars and tried racing it, but was cancelled every time. Why is that?

Headlight/Tailight color change. Sticker on the roof or tailgate. Also, if the wanderer is sitting still, hit him to get him moving.

4 - S. Agata Cattle - I sold the ugly Skyline HG2000 GT-R, but she still doesn't appear. Any other requirements?

Sell a more modern car, like a Skyline or Supra or 300zx.

When turning on your PS2, change the timezone to Japan and change the time to that noted for when the wanderer will show. I would try 10 minutes before they show, so you don't have a chance of losing some of them. Like the ones that show up after a certain time, you have to be on the course before they are.

I swear I have gotten every pit area and still no show of him

Try counting off which ones you have been to according to Mazkid's map. Remember that you have to go through each pit both forward and backward, so I would recommend going through all of them one way, then turn around and do it the other way the next round. Make sure to start at the beginning of the highway strip required to get the wanderer, not halfway through it.

I dont understand by what your saying, start at the begining of the highway??

Hmm.. Really hard to explain. Let's see.

When you are choosing where to be placed in the highway system, there are generally more then one drop zones for a single strip of highway. Take the first one in the series of drop zones, meaning, the first one in the direction needed to go, after the change in highway strips.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm trying my best.
