I said it before, and I'll say it again. You NEED MONEY CODES in order to beat the two money requirements. Exotic Butterfly and Whirlwind Fanfare are those two.

Actually, a gameshark is not need.

Some person discovered a "wanderer" glitch on GamesFAQ

1. Find a wanderer
2. go up to him or her (don't flash your high beams yet!!)
3. eject disc
4. challenge wanderer
5. Wait until camera finishs rotating around his/her car
6. Put disc back in
7. race will begin when the PS2 reads the CD


Many people on another board said this method works. I haven't tried it cuz i was dumb enough to spend money on a Action Replay MAX just to find not a lot of codes available for the game!:banghead:

Please read back and find out why you need a Gameshark before you post please. The two wanderer's that require you to have a lot of money, Exotic Butterfly and Whirlwind Fanfare, require that amount of money, BEFORE they appear on the course. So even if you do the eject trick, it won't work, because they aren't even on the course. That's why you need a Gameshark. Plus, this trick has been posted before.

I got the game a few days ago and I have some questions.
I moved to WANGAN and i cant move back to TOKYO.
There are 2 teams that I still didnt beat.
How do I go back?
Will I be able to go back later???

Sometimes teams don't show up till you beat certain people. You might have to keep racing in order for them to unlock. You might be also referring to the wanderer's who have different requirements for each racer in the group. If you want to know their requirements, look at the first page of this thread.

If you didn't know it, when you choose to enter the raceway, there is a second option to change location, choose that.
 
yes!! finally got a gameshark!! whooo hooo!!....but 1 problem is that TXR3 is not in the cd....so i had to create it....the main problem is i can't find any gameshark codes for TXR3 because i have bought a version 4 gameshark...if any of you have the version 4 codes for this game plz post it up....i really need em...

Did you also put in the master code? There is one for it. I posted all the codes that are Gameshark friendly a couple of pages back. The names of codes won't make any difference.

There's 19 pits, I've labeled each one with a colored dot. The circles are simply the starting points.

Mazkid provided a great way to look at all the pits on the map. You must go to them all, in both directions, in order to have him appear.
 
#146 Night King - will challenge you in the Hagashi area (on the right-most straightaway, top half). Drive in first gear at the redline and don't shift up while honking your horn (hold in L3 until he shows up)


Make sure you have the auto-shift off, so that the vehicle is manual transmission.
 
Haven't beaten the money required ones, nor 600, so now I am waiting for cash on the last guys. So basically, I have. It's very uncool waiting though. No one has a Gameshark. I have beaten the two you speak of, and that's how I beat them.
 
No problem speedynick1, I'm glad I could help. I just need to find me a Gameshark. I really don't want to have to buy one, but it's looking like I'll have to.
 
They should c00ki3, I got them varified with the Gameshark hq. Good luck kicking arse. Don't forget to go in and out of the race way before saving your game with money code on. It won't work otherwise.
 
wow rite on toyomatt!!!!!...i finished the game..phew that took me a while but it was worth playing and finishing this 20 dollar worth game...its also worth the time i spent for it coz the engine swap is the best part of the game...but anywayz..thanx very much 2 MAZKID for providing the foonabashi hooligan map and most grattitude to TOYOMATT84...hey thx for helping me out...not just me but the other gamerz....looking forward to gt4...peace outz for now!! :) :) :):) :) :)
