Tyre wear in practice??

Do tyres wear in practice mode? If not how do you practice and set up?

I'm pretty sure you just set tire wear/fuel consumption to ON, or maybe I have Arcade Mode in mind.

It depends, but I use my PSN Lounge to tune my cars and I set Tire Wear to ON. I'm pretty sure you can turn Tire Wear ON in Practice mode as well as in Arcade Mode when doing time trials, but since offline and online have different physics, I always tune my cars in an online room. 👍

No. Also, mileage does not count towards engine break-in during free run.

Yes, tyres wear in Free Run in an online lobby.

Unless you turn tyre wear off that is, you have the choice to have tyre wear on or off.

Go to GT Life > Practice > One make race

You can have tire wear , fuel and you can even set infinite laps haha

If you do Free Run practice doesn't that put miles on your car. I always tune in my Lounge but I tried to tune my car in free run and I had to change my oil after I had finished. Anyone know for sure whether or not it does?

There's no tire wear in Practice aka TT in Arcade mode. However, you do get to choose "Real" tire grip and "Heavy" damage. You can, however, choose Tire wear/Fuel consumption when racing in Arcade mode. And it's the same if you use the Practice mode in GT Life- Yes for one make races and no for TT.

^ This, assuming you mean online and yes it does default to tyre and fuel wear on, You can switch it of.
Off topic, mileage does not record in practice online only does record when you both enter and complete a race.
