So we have a very tough game on Tuesday against Napoli, this game will be a good indicator of our quality. I'm soooo glad I managed to get a ticket for this one, I can't wait.
I really don't know what the outcome will be, we are on very good form at the moment so a win is definitely a possibility, but due to our paper-thin squad and their attacking talent in Higuain and Hamsik, as well as a very promising prospect in Lorenzo a loss wouldn't come as a surprise.

I've been to the Emirates four times before, and we have always won by two goals at least, albeit against second rate BPL teams (at the time ) such as Reading and Wolverhampton, as opposed to an Italian powerhouse on the Champions League stage.

Hurry up Tuesday!

So, predictions for the games this week? There should be some crackers and I hope Celtic can get a point but it's looking bleak.

Still though,gotta keep the faith!

My predictions

Zenit St. Peters. 1-0 Austria Wein
Basel 1-3 Schalke
Dortmund 3-0 Marsielle
Ajax 1-2 AC Milan
Steaua 1-2 Chelsea
Arsenal 2-1 Napoli (could go either way though)
Porto 1-1 Atletico Madrid
Celtic 0-2 Barcelona

Some very good fixtures this week 👍 C'mon Arsenal!!!

With City playing Bryan Munich tomorrow I'm not expecting a win. I'm seeing a 2-0 loss or 2-1 but I'll be happy with a draw.

Arsenal and Napoli should be a good game. Most likely a draw or Arsenal win by 1 goal margin.

Chelsea should win and should worry if they don't.

United should beat Donetsk but might have a tough time going about it.

As for Celtic. I'll be polite and say it will be very tough, but they won last season, no reason why they can't do it again.

I can't see Celtic winning tonight, but I think a draw is a distinct possibility - another win over Barcelona would be amazing, and Messi isn't playing so that will certainly help, but I wouldn't bet against a Barca win.

I would quite like to watch the game in the pub just incase of another Celtic win, but firstly the game is on normal TV anyway, and secondly I just got back from a friend's wedding that involved three days of power drinking and so I should probably stay out of the pub until November Friday.

There are some great looking games this week!, going to watch Arsenal-Napoli tonight, that should be good..

What are ITV playing at? Choosing Celtic-Barcelona over Chelsea or Arsenal.

Was going to give ITV a view, having to stream it now. :grumpy:

I'm guessing because Sky Sports have first picks over the games and they chose Arsenal.

Then they could have picked chelsea. They normally show at least 1 English game per round.

All in all, Brown acting like a spud cost us. Didn't deserve a Red but bleh.

Brilliant performance by Arsenal, great way to celebrate Wenger's 17th.
The whole team were class.

Seen the Scott Brown incident, really daft by him and of course Neymar being Neymar :indiff:

I'm going to hazard a guess it was because they had Barcelona playing a British team, which would be too good for them to throw away. And also they wanted a lot of atmosphere

I'll have you know The Home crowd were brilliant ........ for about 5 mins at the second half.

Nah was a decent atmosphere, North Bank and clock end chants were astonishing.

I meant that ITV probably had their blinders on when making the decision! Not that the other games wouldn't have atmospheres. 👍 Should have been more clear.

Great result for Arsenal - win another and draw another and we're through 👍.

Convincing response from Chelfy as well, to back up the Special One's snub of the media yesterday.

I was actually expecting a good game between Arsenal and Napoli. Turned out a bit more one sided than expected. Was hoping that was going to be on but was 99% sure Chelsea would be on. Was a tad surprised to see Celtic and Barcelona come on.

I don't think there is first picks in Champions League, and Sky Sports took the other games cause ITV took Celtic, no point showing the Celtic game on Sky Sports.

As for picking Celtic over Chelsea and Arsenal, I'm pretty sure that decision would have boosted their viewers.

City-Munich tomorrow.:trouble:

Hmm, interesting. Maybe they picked it because as Classic said, Barcelona playing a British team.

Welcome to what we have to put up with the rest of the time. We are usually forced to watch an English team, even when a Scottish team are playing the same night. I thought it was refreshing.

Agreed, was brilliant hearing them.

Also don't Sky and ITV air all the games on TV :odd: ?
Sky have 4 each gameweek and ITV have 1 usually. the other 9 are usually on the Sky Sports red button interactive thing.

That's weird, in the Middle East we just subscribe to the Al Jazeera channels and we get every match we want so that eliminates the issue.

Yeah, I livestream from Al Jazeera sometimes as it's English commentary.

Arsenal were hugely impressive last night and their great run continues, I thought Celtic were good and I thought the red was deserved but Neymar was being Neymar, Chelsea were good as well but they were up against a weak team...

As for tonight, well City-Bayern could be a cracker and United have a tough game away to Shakthar so id be happy with a point despite everyone saying we need a win, a point would be a good result and it would mean that we stay top of the group..
