I was going to buy ac milans new shirt, but it looks retarded with BETANDWIN emblazened across the front which makes it look like ass. Some sponsors blend in well with the shirt and some don't though.

Well, It only says "BWIN" so it's not so bad...

BTW, I have it :D

Ciao!

They said that they will always have a Maldini shirt even after he retires because of respect for what he's done in Italy.

I'm not lying.

Ciao!

I bet Flerb is getting hella drunk right now

Not quite "Hella" - But close

That is, BY FAR, the mostest awesomest thing I've ever experienced on our turf !....

See ya ManUre !...

 WOW! Nakamura strikes again... twice in two games against one of the best sides in the Premiership, this guy is great - fast becoming a Celtic legend! :sly:

Slightly (?!) dodgy free-kick award in the first place, however - but Nakamura wasn't involved in that... ;)

and in the first encounter...

I'd agree, in terms of overall team ability we are the second best, sitting behind Chelsea. However I do believe that on our day we can beat Chelsea. Last nights game was a bit of a shock result for everyone I think. The free kick was definitely not a free kick, but what can you do. It was a bloody good take by Nakamura and no keeper would have got to that. But, what on earth were we thinking letting Saha take the penalty, he'd only a few minuets earlier missed a golden opportunity to score. And he side footed it, he side footed the penalty. Oh well, our next game is Benfica at home, I don't think that match will be too hard. I didn't this one would, well it wasn't, it was a walk in the park in terms of game domination, it was just that free kick and the fact we couldn't get the ball in the back of thier net.

Fantastic goals by Nakamura up there 👍

Ok this is the first game Milan loses, it's ok, Inzaghi looked pretty strong and the team was pushing for the most part of the match. AEK however, had the best opportunities and they also made a great rival for our team. we also have injury problems and I'm sure we're gonna see a stronger Milan in the next round.

Inter won and Roma lost. I barely care about those two.

I caught a glimpse at the Chelsea game at a friend's house, I really thought they were gonna come back from that 1 -0 loss, too bad they didn't; But I still see them stronger than MU.

Some groups are pretty tight now, and that's where it gets really interesting :)

Ciao!

All 5 British clubs are through
Celtic
Arsenal
Man U
Chelsea
and Liverpool
:cheers::cheers::cheers:
Good showing from us.

🤬 I can't believe we lost today...against Lille??? wtf man...

We're in, OK, but we can't be playing like this for the rest of the tournament...Kaka on the bench for the first half, he got in later but he should have been there all the time.

But anyway, good for Lille, although they classified because of draw between Anderlech and AEK. It was their first time ;)

I think Roma got in also and Inter tied with Bayern M. They all classified too... Forza Italia!
------------------------------------------------

Good job done by all the british teams, apprently Ronaldo is still loved in Manchester...

Ciao!

Ofcourse, he's one of the best young players around, he just needs to stay on his feet more. He had a good game today, didn't dive once as far as I noticed. Which is good, and how it should be every game.

Yes, after Benfica scored Man U were phenominal.

Hmm, well there was what was meant to be a football game played today at Lille. While I will say Lille were unlucky not converting the chances they had, the refs decision to dissalow thier goal was spot on, you can't push the defender infront of you over then head the ball in. Nor was there anything wrong with Uniteds free kick, the ref stepped away from the ball and Giggs took it, the ref doesn't have to blow his whistle, if Giggs has asked for a quick kick, then that's perfectly fine providing the ref has agreed to it. As for the shambles that happened afterwards, Lille will be lucky if they don't get kicked out the competition.

We got to watch Celtic against AC Milan. I think Milan just had the one shot which Boruc deflected past, and that was about it. Milan had the vast majority of possession, but didn't do anything with it. They didn't seem to have a striker (Ronaldo was cup-tied).

Bloody ESPN didn't pass the game :grumpy:, but I got to watch the Real Madrid - Bayern Munich game, it was pretty fun, a lot of goals and good plays. A good game overall.

One thing I noticed, Rudd Van NistelRooy was slower than ever, eventhough he scored a goal, he was pretty crappy throughout the rest of the game. He wasn't running and he was falling every time he got the ball. :indiff:

I have a some feelings for Robinho, those are feelings like AAARRGG OMG I HATE YOU SO MUCH ROBINHO GO BACK TO THE BENCH GODDAMMIT!, and as expected he pretty much sucked during the game. Why does Capello put him in to play??

Anyway, too bad I couldn't watch Milan but the good thing is that we didn't Play in Milano. So is all for all in the next leg.

EDIT: And Roma plays today! FORZA ROMA!!

Ozzy, do you think Beckham had a pretty good game? The paper's seemed quite happy to point out he set up 2 of the goals despite only just getting back in the team.

You know what? I've noticed that since Beckham got signed in L.A., he's been playing outstandingly all of a sudden! I mean, it's not like he runs a little faster but he makes great plays, and shoots better, he's hustling his arse off throughout the game, he defends like crazy and he acts like the freaking captain of the team!

If only contracts were reversible :(

You should feel lucky, 4 games on last night, 2 were entertaining, 1 of them not for the right reasons.

That really was appalling at what happened in Lille, on and off the pitch.

I thought you supported udinese?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Huh HUH?
OHH MY GODDD WHY YOU HAVE TO TREAT ME LYK DIS?
Udinese didn't make the Champions this year :(, so I have to support my fellow Italian teams...

And your Chelsea is gonna get rocked by Porto so HA.

what a penis ^^^

and LIVERPOOL BEAT BARCA!! now im happy :)

That clip belongs in the Donkey of the Month thread daan!
There's not been any February nominations yet, and that has eeyore written all over it! :dunce:
That was longer and more protracted than Arjen Robben tackling Cristiano Ronaldo and them both going for major swan-dive points! :p

I agree, we are not good diving cheats :sly:

Well done to Liverpool.

However, I must say that the refereeing was appalling. Though the players weren't much better. Some of the things the Barca players were going to ground for, and when they crowded the ref, thus persuading him to hand out a yellow card... to a Liverpool player, was absolutely disgusting.
