Adil Rami!! Tie is still pretty much over though...

Edit: Ibra sent off now. Things becoming interesting.

FT 1-2. PSG still in control but with Ibra and Verratti out, Valencia have a slim chance. They have to score 2 in Paris.

Juve awful today, but still take care of business. Pretty much through already.

Celtic battled well, but Juventus have far more class where it matters. They know how to get a result.

Very disappointed for Celtic, they should have at least got a goal or two. I guess Juventus just have more experience when it comes to Europe. Unfortunately, I can't see a way back for Celtic now.

Juventus look to be through to the next round, sadly enough.

PSG with a good win against Valencia, and got Ibra sent off.

Both away wins. Interesting.

:( :(

Very peculiar match to be honest. Did not see a 0-3. 0-1 would have been flattering.

edit: Just watched the highlights back, my god, talk about riding the storm. This was like the Barca-Celtic game except we were on the opposite end. Domination from us was promising but we needed those goals, and so many chances went a begging. It's hard to find faults from Celtic outside of Ambrose. Lichtsteiner and his team on the corners was goddamn hilarious. Can't defend normally, might as well go about hitting people.

Watching the highlights now, Celtic had a few chances but never really looked like they were going to find a way past Buffon. Juventus were dirty, but the Celtic players didn't help themselves by falling down after no or very little contact.
And if they just stopped fannying around having a hissy fit every time they thought they were fouled, and instead put their heads down and kept plugging away they might have got somewhere.

As it stands they have no hope, goodbye Celtic.

Also the ITV commentators were annoyingly biased.

Yeah just a freaking bit. The few parts I watched they sounded like die hard Celtic fans. I know we all like to see underdogs win but it's extremely annoying when the voices you hear for 95 minutes are so biased you actually expect them to cheer if Celtic scored.

Yeah ITV are known for their bias!

and you know it's bad when Joey Barton comments on it.

Also, little or no contact? Fine me evidence of this please. 👍 I think that's the best thing to come of this, nobody who actually watched the game or the highlights said Celtic played badly, was just losing concentration at key moments that really put us out the tie. I suppose that's the difference in class. Regardless, the journey was absolutely amazing, I went to all the matches, including qualifiers and had the time of my life. Never been prouder to be a Celtic fan than now, nobody even gave us hope to qualify(with good reason) or get out the GS(With good reason), so to get this far makes me so damn proud. :D

I'm doing my best, struggling to find a decent video.

Aha! http://www.soccer-blogger.com/2013/...ghts-0-3-matri-marchisio-vucinic-goals-video/ 3rd video down, first instance 1:35, went down in the box, appealed for a penalty, very little contact.
3:46, again went down in the box, players appealed for something that wasn't a foul.
4:30 again went down in the box, very little contact.

Not that widespread but after it's happened a couple of times, the ref might be wary of awarding free kicks/penalties because the earlier diving might have created a bit of doubt in his mind.

But anyway Celtic were plucky, punching wayyy above their weight and did quite well.

Really nervous about the Real - United match tonight. :nervous:

Hoping for a good result, and at least 1 or 2 away goals.

If we can get away goals then we are in with a very good chance. I literally have no idea who will win today though.

I cant bloody wait to be honest! i know some United fans are nervous but im relishing it..its games like these that make the Champions League what it is!

I'm with you on this. I support United so I obviously want them to win but I'm looking forward to a spectacle as much as that. It's the kind of match people want to see.

I'm going for 2-1 to Real Madrid.

I wouldn't be too upset with that. If we lose by 1 but get an away goal or 2 that could be important for the return leg.

Reckon Phil Jones will start to try and do a man-mark job on Ronaldo, hes done very well doing the same thing to Bale a few weeks ago and to Felliani on sunday...

That wouldn't surprise me, Jones is a great player IMO and he's young so he should get better.

Jones is a very interested player to watch over the next few years. Hopefully he will grow into an even better player. But even then, getting into a Man Utd squad against Real Madrid is no easy feat.

United team..De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Jones, Kagawa, Welbeck, Rooney, RVP...

I'd say that's a strong team actually. And according to here Vidic isn't even in the squad and Evans is playing instead.

I knew he'd go with kagawa, he's a small technical player very much in the Spanish mold. Ill be happy with 1-1 but a 2-1 loss or 3-2 loss wouldn't be to bad aslong as its not by more than one goal then we will have a chance at OT. You never no though we may surprise every body and win.....-gets down on knees and prays-

Not a Manchester United fan, but would be happy to see them score a few tonight.

I just hope it's not a really one sided game, crushing the return leg. I want 180+ minutes of great football.

 Must be a new South Park movie on the way.
