Odds of 12/1 at half time for Bayern to win 2-1, was so tempted to put on a tenner. :grumpy:

Feel bad for Dortmund, they played thier part in such a great game!!

Fantastic final to watch as a neutral, really open game with plenty of chances. That was such a big goal for Robben too, after having his penalty saved last year by Czech to now score the winner.

The Dortmund team will be heartbroken, but congrats Bayern!

Congrats to Bayern. I feel gutted for BVB though, they were so good. And I don't like Bayern that much anyway.

That was a good game, even though I had no clue what was going on most of the time.

German teams wins :)
And a German team loses, look on the bright side :sly:

I agree. Watching as a neutral was much more fun than I expected. I didn't celebrate any goals, I just watched some good football. Simple as. There was no "I support Man Utd and we hate Liverpool so I'm gonna support Norwich against them today", there was literally no reason for me to pick one team over another. Therefore I just simply watched. :)

Dont forget that some guy called Pep Guardiola is going to be in charge from next season!

Great game and at the end the best team won. Not forgetting Ribéry and Dante (Bayern) must see red and yellow-red card and Lewandowski (Dortmund) red card as well. So a bit lucky for Bayern...

[...]

I`m very disappointed, my friend.

Robben had missed a one-on-one against Casillas in the 2010 World Cup final, lost the 2010 Champions League final against Inter, lost the 2012 Champions League final against Chelsea, going as far as missing a penalty. This led a lot of people to believe he jinxed his team.

Now it's over. "I'm not jinxed anymore!"

I thought it was a great final tbh. Each sides were attacking constantly, especially Dortmund in first 30 minutes with their amazing and fast paced counter attack from the middle and to the wider areas. Seemingly so, Bayern just couldnt handle the flanks, hence why Dortmund almost could have scored in the first half. Reus was immence and so was Gündogan. Dortmunds transition from the midfield to offensive stage was great too I thought. Funny how the amount of games Robben has been ****, but this just wasnt the one :D

Anyway very entertaining, RM fan here btw! :D

So Celtic romped to a 3-0 victory in their first taste of CL this season, expect a even larger score in the return leg this week. 👍

Elfsborg looks the most likely team to await us in the next qualifier, Should we make it. BRING IT ON.

Celtic have been drawn against Kazakhstan champions Shakhter Karagandy, the lowest ranked club remaining the Champions League, in the play-off round - arguably the best draw they could have hoped for. Shakhter Karagandy have a worse UEFA club coefficient than Sligo Rovers, however they have already knocked out Belorussian champions BATE Borisov, who currently have a higher UEFA coefficient than Celtic, so it may not be as easy as it looks...

Arsenal got Fenerbache which might be tricky, but Arsenal are by far the highest ranked team yet to qualify and I can't see them failing to get through to the group stage from here.

And of course PSV draws a serious opponent. AC Milan.

So that will be just Ajax in the CL.

Yep, PSV faced a tough game no matter what, as there were no easy teams that they could have got. Would be great to see them go through, but I reckon it's pretty unlikely.

Celtic just lost to Shakhtar Karagandy 2-0...

BBC are saying that Celtic's chances of reaching the CL group stage have been 'dented'... I think 'shakhtered' is probably more accurate.

PSV played 1-1 against AC Milan. And it didn't look bad at all. PSV will have tough time winning in Milan but if it goes as tonight I can see them taking the ticket.

Both of these teams played very well and deserve to be in the Champions League group stages, not the qualifying stages.

Well, PSV only got to second place due to the Mickey Mouse level of the Dutch league last year. They surprised everyone with their football this year. But Milan now knows what it is up against, so I hope for the best, but expect total annihilation in San Siro next week.
