;_; This is glorious.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I love the Champions League.

And thanks for digging out the quote :D :D :D

Man United CAN meet Celtic as they are Scottish..the only teams we cant face are Arsenal (2 teams from the same country cant face each other untill the quarters) and Galatasaray (were already in our group..cant face them again till the quarters, if they both make it)

I notice all you guys are are trying to decide your 'best' option, I can't say anything about this because well...we are the total underdogs.

Anybody will be ridiculously tough. This campaign is burning out our team completely, hence the awful SPL performances of recent. Who knows, January could turn out to be a mega important time for us.

Teams to avoid are obviously Madrid and Shakhtar, in my opinion the dark horses for the tournament are Shakhtar and Dortmund in my opinion. I think Dortmund could go all the way.
One of your dark horses is the 4th favourite to win the whole thing (behind Barcelona, Madrid and Bayern) and the other is 8th. Not really all that dark.

It's hard to see any team outside of Barcelona and Madrid winning the trophy, but I did say that last year as well and then that Chelsea miracle fluke happened, so who knows.

I'd LOVE to face Barca if it was possible. :sly:

Champions League knockout round draw tomorrow 10am!

Very excited. :D Really can't wait!

Got a strange feeling for Schalke.

I bet you feel like a kid on Christmas eve classic!

As a United fan im not really too bothered so long as we avoid Milan and Madrid!

I Do! This doesn't happy every year for me! I support a CL deprived team. :( :(

I don't understand why you fear AC? They aren't great!

They used to be a great side. The team this year hasn't convinced me yet though...

Of course they aren't as good as when Maldini and Nesta ruled the defence, but they can really throw a surprise no matter who they're meeting.

I can sympathize with causing surprises I suppose! 👍

Draw starts at 10am, right when I'm at school
At least I can watch the Europa league draw at 1pm because we finish at lunch tomorrow.

I have a driving lesson during the draw. :(

Gutted.

Galatasaray-Schalke
Celtic-Juventus.
Arsenal-Bayern.
Shakhtar-BVB.
Milan-Barcelona.
Real Madrid-Manchester United.
Valencia-PSG.
Malaga-Porto.

Great draw, potentially some very good ties.

Fantastic draw, can't wait to see the Real v United game. They have had some great scraps in the past.

Porto must be very happy with their draw.

Yep!! Awesome.

I'm really looking forward to Man U-Real and AC Milan-Barca.

I'd say Porto, Schalke and Juve will all be very happy with the draw. Bayern and Barcelona will also be heavy favourites, though they both would have been in most possibilities.

Can't wait till February.

KNEW IT.....

Oh well, I guess having away game first and home last was the best that could come out of that draw.

You think? I wouldn't want to go to Celtic Park as an away team as Barcelona found to their cost in the group stages. Celtic are probably the biggest banana skin for a big club. Juventus will be expected to win so the pressure is all on them, but going to Celtic Park and coming away with a win is no easy task.

FTFY.

Great draw for Celtic but I doubt they will get close to beating Juve, as they are on fire right now. But you never know... still, the fans won't care... they are hosting the great Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions League - and I guess that will be enough for most people!!

What a set of draws! Some really mouthwatering fixtures there.

Very much looking forward to United vs. Real, as well as Celtic vs. Juve.

Time for revenge.
