Galatasaray are staging one hell of a comeback against Madrid, up 3-1 on the night, 4-3 down on aggregate. Awesome :D

EDIT: And Malaga are currently 1-1 with Dortmund away from home, and hence going through as it stands.

Would have been fantastic if both Mala and Gala went through...

Incredible finish there. As for the officials, what ****ing game are they watching at times?

Yeah, offside goals. despite being all of standing right next to the goal. Good games though, great evening of football.

Ronaldo on 11 this year in the CL too. Though I bet Mourinho was worried for a good ten minutes there.

Sensational stuff! I love the Champions League.

That reminded me of the 1999 Champions League final where Man Utd came back from 1-0 down to score 2 in stoppage time to win 2-1. What the officials were doing I have no idea though, first Malaga scored an offside goal that stood and then in BvB's last goal there were 3 or 4 offside.

Can't believe Malaga had this in the bag and let it slip!!

Real through, was expected. Was not expecting Gala to score 3 though.

Pecheada from Málaga. Can't believe they are out of the Champions League this way, but they had it coming.

2 more quarter-final second legs tonight...Messi and Beckham both on bench for Barca-PSG..

Question is now is are Barca going to risk Messi's Hamstring injury by bringing him on.

He is finally warming up! he didnt warm up with the team before the match...

...and here he comes to save the day!

Did anyone else see Xavi casually knocking over the microphone when he took the corner?

Can someone explain the away goal rule that put Barca though? It was 3-3 on aggregate and both teams had the away goal, so why no extra time? Is it because Barca got 2 away goals and PSG only 1?

Yeh... in the event of a draw, away goals count double...

If you have more away goals and the score is tied on aggregate, you win. I can see the reason for it being there, though it does seem a tad archaic, it rewards attacking play away from home.

What I cannot for the life of me see the point of is away goals still counting after extra time. How is it fair that one team gets 120 mins of away goals and the other doesn't?

It's not. That's why they should just get rid of it.

2 German and 2 Spanish clubs. We're either going to see a classico semifinal or Friday's draw will potentially put a possibility of them facing each other in the end.

It's crazy to say this but Dortmund is the weakest of the 4 teams left lol
Yet any 4 can win it!

Messi certainly changed the game. 1 bad marking of player for a short time gave enough space for Pedro to receive the pass. Shame PSG didn't knock out Barca, they really had the chance too...

The big shocker this round was Malaga choking at 90+, but seeing as they'd be ruled out of all euro competitions next year due to financial issues, it was time for them to go.

Because one team gets to play 90 minutes at home and the other team gets to play 120 minutes in their home stadium. Playing the second leg at home would be a huge advantage without the away goals rule.

Sad that Barca won. Actually it was a twisted evening - as a Munich native I'm happy again but as an inhabitant of Paris I'm sad. Hoping for Bayern - Madrid. ;)
