So the Quarter finals second legs start tomorrow, United are in Munich on Wednesday and I think Moyes should pick an attacking team and just go for it...we didn't expect to get this far so what have we got to lose??
We'll get ripped apart if we try to play high at Bayern.
The tactics will be a carbon copy of the home leg: Defend deep, hit them on the counter.
I'm hoping for something like this:

-----------------DDG-----------------

Rafael-----Smalling---Vidic--------Evra

----------Jones------Carrick----------

Valencia--------Kagawa-------Welbeck

--------------Hernandez--------------

Swap Hernandez with Rooney if he's fit.

Pace, power and park the bus.

Bayern will have Schweinstiger and Martinez out but they have players to replace them like Gotze and Thiago if he is fit....
Thiago is injured, definately out.

I reckon their front 6 will be:

-----------Lahm------Kroos------------

Robben----------Gotze----------Ribery

------------Mandzukic/Muller----------

Chelsea tonight, they can definitely go though but they need a good start and to score the first goal, if they concede first then its game over!

Can see the latter happening more so than Chelsea scoring to be honest.

Chelsea have done it before though, couple of years ago they were 3-1 down to Napoli from the first leg but they won the second at the Bridge 4-1....and they won the Cup that year..

Chelsea team, Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpi, Lampard, Luiz, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Eto'o...

Dortmund 2-0 up against Real Madrid, but Real still in the lead 3-2.

Weidenfeller with a penalty save from Di Maria, and Reus scored both so far for Dortmund. Exiting! :dopey:

Chelsea just need one more goal and have hit the cross bar twice in as many minutes. This should be an exciting 35 minutes.

Edit: there it is, 88th minute goal from Ba. Chelsea are through.

The Chelsea game was great to watch as well. There was a lot of great attacking football and it was a good finish to the game. Real Madrid also through tonight (3-2 on aggregate) despite losing 2-0 to Dortmund via 2 Reus goals.

A very convincing performance from Chelsea, and without Hazard as well... Schurrle is very impressive, and Chelsea could have won by 3 or 4 tonight. I was only semi-watching the game and had the sound off, so I can't really tell if PSG made a fist of it or not, but it looked like they were out-played for most of the match.

Good news for Chelsea's title rivals too, however, since Chelsea will now have to focus on the CL semi-finals.

Great result for Chelsea, and hopefully will distract them when we play them between the 2 legs of the semi :D

Yesterday I was trying to keep up with both games because they were so damn interesting.

Chelsea played well against a defending PSG, but the goal from Ba was pure luck. Schurrle is impressive. What a player!
As for the other, Ronaldo really make a difference even when he doesn't play well. Dortmund really tried and Mkhitaryan (spelling?) missed one easy goal. Di Maria missed the penalty because he slipped. Reus made an interesting game, but Mkhitaryan was one of the best in the field.

Today I got two more interesting games to keep up. Looking foward to see what Man Utd is capable of.

Great performance by Chelsea last night, hopefully United can do the same tonight..

They have to score because since they suffered a goal in Old Trafford.
Yes, I know that.
United will be under siege all night and will have to sit deep and defend with resilience while trying to snatch something on the counter, just like they did at Old Trafford.
Those tactics limited Bayern to a handful of clear chances and I'm hoping for a similar match tonight.

Last week I only supported the team half-heartedly but I expected a beating but this time I'm right behind them and cant wait for the game...C'MON UNITED!!!

After the first leg we can hold our heads high no matter what happens this leg.

United Team!

De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Fletcher, Valencia, Welbeck, Kagawa, Rooney

...I like the look of that, Rooney and Shinji both start, gamble to play Smalling though...

Certain spanish team will be eliminated today.

Atlético de Madrid 1-0 Barcelona.

Bye Barça, Martino go home.

Barca are getting destroyed, it's not even 10 minutes in and Athletico could be 3-0 up. They are lucky to only be 1 down.

Evra scores a stunner for Man Utd... game most definitely on here... incredible.

... and Bayern equalise in the time it took me to post that  (22 seconds from the restart!!)

Poor defending from Evra

Bayern have taken the lead through Muller. 2-1 there.

Both games are fantastic, good stuff. Gabi should have scored just there. Big missed chance to seal it for Atleti.

So, Athletico and Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern in the semi's. Not quite as mouth watering as last year but still interesting no doubt. Real-Bayern would be an incredible match if it happens.

An all Madrid final would be awesome...

Bayern were not as convincing as all that... I doubt Chelsea have enough fire power to win the CL this year.... Real always have a chance, and I have no clue about Athletico, but apparently they are top of La Liga and have made it this far - they must have a good shout.
