Milik has shown why he still is an Eredivisie player. Great against Dutch clubs, not so much against anything else.

First half-great, rest of the game-crap....

Penalties it is, Poland beat the Swiss on pens in the last 16.

Really good pen by Ronaldo

Sanches up next!

And scores...

Portugal have yet to win a game in 90 minutes but are still through to the Semi's....

Unlucky Poland

Some fantastic penalties in that shoot out

So, Portugal to win the whole tournament without a 90 minute win then?

This was our best... draw.

Half decent game by Portugal, if I'm honest. Far from great, but I think we were the best team and actually deserved to win.

I'll just leave the team rankings updated for the quarter final results here:

I think we clearly could have won this game in the 90m. :)

I think not, because Portugal seem to have the same problem that a lot of other teams also have this tournament. The passes from the sides rarely land in the box, the same goes for the corners. We've seen so many balls just fly way over the heads of everyone in the box.

It's as if the balls are filled with Hydrogen or something.

Edit.

Del Bosque is no longer manager of the Spain squad.

Might be something with the new ball. Maybe it's a little lighter (if I remember correctly, the 2010 World Cup ball had this problem, too light which ended making weird movement after shooting). Who knows. But I noticed that too, most of the crosses end up getting too high and far from the box.

A team with no 90 min wins on the verge of the final.

And people were criticising Wales and Iceland for being at the tournament...

Iceland and Wales play with the most passion possible. That alone makrs them my favourites. Even it comes to defending their asses off against an onslaught, it makes it all worthwhile to watch.

Yet, Poland stopped attacking and didn't do much after the draw... But let's not mention that.

Tomorrow another game, any bets?

Moanaldo flukes his way through to another Semi-Final 👎

This annoys me to no end. I mean, yes, he is being ridiculously 🤬 this Euro, but I mean what the hell has he done to recieve this hate? He hasn't done 🤬 this game or this Euro by the matter of fact, but for you he is the cause of everything, I guess the other 13 players that played or the 22 that were called for the national team are useless and can go home. They are carrying the hell out of this team (with lot of luck, truth be told) and yet you blame it on Ronaldo. Yes, he is making a fool of himself this Euro. Leave the bloody man alone.

While he is very childish most of the time, at least he didn't seem like a certain 29 year old child that lost something and simply decides to quit.

Yes, he is making a fool of himself this Euro

*most of his career.

His sheer brilliance is horribly overshadowed by his utter and awful childish behaviour. He can be a gem to humanity off the pitch, but on the pitch he can be such a sack of ****.

I understand he wants to win it all, but he tries to win it by any means necessary. And that ruins his name. His talent.

He should take an example of Messi and Ibrahimovic. Both of them are in the same league of players, but without the whining, moaning and constant complaining.

Yeah, Messi has the whole Barcelona squad to complain, he doesn't need to do it lol. Ibra is in a team miles better than any competition in the French league, so there's no need to complain either.

Then, you should watch first players that, rather than playing football, prefer breaking legs everytime other player goes through or shows some skill. Then stop watching football in such an unsided way. He is not the only player who has dived or complained. Even Messi did it, and many other players are known for it. Stop watching football like everything that happens in sport, is Ronaldo's fault lol.

Then, if you wanna talk about his complains, try to use your eyes and brain to figure out which ones are legitimate and which ones are not. Today he suffered a penalty (a very clear one by the way), and he complained, now those complains were right or wrong?

Not sure if it mas mentioned, but a fan ran into the field in extra time during today's game. :odd:

I mostly agree with this, I really do. And sometimes I just want to slap him and tell to play football. But there is one thing: he doesn't give up. He moans and whines when things aren't going his way and he doesn't give up.

But once again, like I said, Ronaldo has yet to beat that childish behavior that has ruined Messi's image, of which the statement in bold, now has little value. Although I always admired those two because they played football without the moaning.

@Famine Why are Portugal 4th in your table on 7pts, ahead of teams on 9pts?
Because semifinalists.

24th to 19th fell out in the first round, 18th to 9th in the second and 8th to 5th will be the losing quarterfinal teams.
