D***!!! I knew that somebody would catch on and realize the Mini wasn't a true hatch. It is the proper shape tho' . You must admit it was the original hot rod ****box.
And the 2CV may not be ugly, but all the trees in the Ugly forest are complaining about a funny looking french car that sounded like a 2 cylinder puttering by with a blindfolded driver.
 
Actually, the GTI was a fun-to-drive little hatch, but I wouldn't qualify it as exceptionally "hot" either.

I would say the original Hot Hatch is the Renault 5 Turbo.
 
my personal opinion to the ugliest car, well first off al i don't think the escudo pikes peak should be in it coz it is to me a really good looking car with an exceptional performance.
Though all the other cars in the poll i totally agree with the suzuki alto works is the most attrocious piece of metal of wheels(if its made of metal!)

The Mini was probably the first performance small car I will agree, although I still say the Golf GTI was the first hot hatch. As for the 2CV, I don't drive one if that is what you are implying although I do have a Citroen........

guys, at least the Escudo is purpose built. You have to at least respect the fact that its specifically built for what it does. You just have to assume that Ferdinand Porsche would roll over in his grave if he saw the frickin Lupo or some of the other lame ass products that the VW group puts out.
 
Hey lay off both escudo and mini they both totally rock. Man that is a fiat isn't it W_Conneely two words about that car erhuuummm!! THEY SUCK!!!!! never seen such a bogus lame cheap car in my life.
 
i know which car would be by far the ugliest though, the yugo 45 the most cheap ugly underpowered slow difficult car to drive this side of the universe. I saw Jeremy clarkson take the crap out of it, he ran the car over with a tank in the end. (Serves yugo right)
 
oh and can I just mention while I'm here that some of the posts have been quite disturbing. How on earth can anyone choose another car than that crappy vinyl bonneted trueno???? Its so disturbing I want to burn my eyes out with a cigarette lighter.

Anyway the Badger could kick seven bells out of the Fox and probably Africa too....

I got pulled for speeding in my 2CV once, the cop was way too embarrased to give me a ticket though :D that was my original hairdressers mobile :) still now I've gone down in the world....

No, the fox would win, I see you're talking utter poo once again. BTW, talking about being stopped by the police, I got pulled in my GSA. I was going round a roundabout in a hurry and the car was virtually on the doorhandles. Still, only got a 7 day wonder :D

I'm with Tailslide - the Allegro sucks big time - but maybe not as much as the Hillman Imp. Remember the lovely horizontally opening back window? (shudders)

Dunno what you mean about the TR-7 though...
 
I have to say that the ugliest car(s) on GT3 HAVE to be those damned american cars!those cars look so damn hideous,it's not even funny..but anyways,anybody can sure as hell tell you that an R32 looks WAAAAAAY better than ANY viper or corvette or camaros,so to put it bluntly,american cars suck ass and imports kick their ass!long live Truenos! (well,preferably the AE86,and not the AE113 or any of the newer models,bleh)

I'd say that being such a great looking car in real life and sooo poorly rendered in gt3, the 156 is one of the worst looking cars in the game!!
 
156? Ugly? Oh dear, to be expected though of someone who thinks the Gillet Looks good ;)

BTW, I have also seen a Vertigo in the metal :)
