Surely you should know...If I had exams in 2 1/2 months time, I'd have expected to have been told about it! Ah, the joys of a BTEC, no exams.

We haven't really been told. We know about all the essays as they're all already on the intranet for us to tackle, but there's no word of exams. I'm assuming not.
 
I've decided I'm not coming to this one :D

The 500 Fun Run is taking place on the 10th May, so I'll be coming to this after all! After my previous 2 attempts were ruined by various things, nothing should stop me now. No money issues like last time and no girlfriend like the time before (Although, looking back I wish I'd have ditched her and gone along after all)

If anyone wants to go from anywhere from the Midlands upwards and needs a lift, let me know. I have space for 1 person if I take my TV and everything else in the car. Should be interesting trying to get my TV into my car :lol:

I must find a way to fit chrome wheels to the 500 before The Elf. I'm gonna be croozin' in STYLE! :lol:
 
I must find a way of having a better car by The Elf. Otherwise i'm going to be seriously out-done by everyone...
 
Pfft, my wheels don't stand much chance, though it is rear wheel drive, and I do have 24 gears!

Is it me or is interest a bit down on the Elf?
 
Dunno. If you shift the list in the OP about a bit you can move Milford, myself and presumably VEXD all up into the "going to be there" list (I pretty much am going to be there now - I've decided) and it looks much more favourable.

How many of us were there at the Dixie? Ten? Well it looks like we have nine so far, perhaps eight if VEXD isn't confirmed.
 
We'll have 10 if both interested parties and VEXD come. I can pretty safely say I won't be racing on Monday, Roo is coming back on the Monday and I'm probably working the Tuesday, maybe even the BH Monday, need to sort that out before I work out if I have to fly back on Sunday night!
 
With Sheep and Tig (now added), we've got 9 confirmed...
 
I shall be instructing people how to effectively wave swords at each other during the time frame of this meet - it would seem that many organisations arrange for their events to occur during Bank Holiday weekends :(.

As nobody seems to be interested in the 3 sleeping spaces, then I shall withdraw the offer and you can all sort yourselves out somewhere to sleep, I shall no longer be involved.

Bother, I'd forgotton about that. I was thinking the other day about whether I'd be allowed to stick a tent in the back garden (could I?), having assumed all the indoor spaces had been filled.

Or I'll sleep in the Volvo.
 
I'm interested in the three sleeping spaces.

Though I never confirm whether I'm going to these things or not till the day they happen.

I'm not trying to be awkward.

No, no, no! I was very loving and giving regarding the three spaces I was prepared to create for people who could be arsed to at the very least reserve them. Not one single person showed any interest at all until I said that they're no longer available. They're still no longer available because I'm annoyed that I was ignored. So there.
 
So can I put 2 tents up in the garden?

Completely understand your frustration K, you made it perfectly clear, but as said, we're blokes and forward planning isn't our thing. Personally, I still have no idea if I'm racing beyond Saturday, could well be a flying job with working on BH Monday being a possibility.
