It's not that easy. They'll surely have their network configured in a way they think will handle the load of all these people connecting at once. However... There's a lot of difference between thinking and knowing, and the only way to know for sure is to properly stress the network.

I would not set your expectations too high that this will launch exactly on time.
 
Enjoy it guys. I'm really in two minds about going to bed when I get in or stay up until 130 and have 4 hours sleep.
 
What a morning! I thought with the afternoon off I would stroll in an tidy a few things up before leaving to play Forza. First phone call of the day and I learn one of our customers is offering to fight one of our engineers because the engineer dared to ask him who is mounting a piece of equipment that we already agreed the customer would be mounting! Several phone calls later and a visit to site and all is sorted but there went my relaxed morning.

Now I get home and Forza is showing as only 55.3MB! Anyone know what's going on?
 
Yeah, I think there was the original placeholder and then for some it didn't restart last week with the full download. I followed others in deleting it to reinstall it from the cloud and then the full download happened.

Hard boot your Xbox. Hold down the power button until it switches itself off. Heard it works.

If it were me I'd get my sleep! Ul need it for when you do eventually get to sit and enjoy.. But if I were 21 again,I'd play! Lol.

I agree, I would just get some sleep. Especially in case this gets delayed or doesn't work properly. Get some sleep, get up later and hopefully by then the problems have been resolved.
