Y-fronts are called briefs in American.

I'm a briefs man, myself. Although I do occasionally indulge in the freedom of boxers (commando style is usually at home only), I prefer a little support. Keeps stuff out of the way, ya know? And have you ever tried to run in boxers? :knockout:

Yeah, at home, I just usually wear basketball shorts, keeps the air flowing.

Outside of home, I always wear boxers. However, I'm going to need to invest in some boxer briefs for biking/hiking/running.

I am a boxer brief person all the way. With boxers you do not get a "snug" feel or anything. Running in boxers sucks cause everything goes wild and boxer briefs keep them safe and snug. Plus in boxers smetimes when you sit and stuff "it" kinda just plops over to one side. I like it all tight and nice and safe.

I had a couple friends in high school that worked out in boxers ... ONLY. We stayed very far away from them.
