How do you unlock the helmets and racesuits on the new update ?

[Major Changes and New Features]
- Racing Gear Item
A new racing gear category consisting of the racing helmet and racing suit has been implemented. You can use these for yourself as the A-Spec driver or any of the "My Drivers" in B spec.
There are many variations to the racing gear, and in addition to several sets being given out as presents when you start GT Mode, you can also gain new ones when you win in online events. So you can now take a photo of your driver wearing your favourite gear, and use that custom photo for your driver profile.
For details, refer to "Racing Gear" under Top Menu - [Manual] - [GT Mode].



Just click on your profile icon and select the suit/helmet you want.

But if you're talking about gaining more than the 8 choices provided.. details aren't out yet, but I assume you can eventually acquire them through online racing (as mentioned above) and maybe log in bonuses.

Be careful. If you like to have everyone in the same outfit you may not be albe to do that with the new ones. Got myself geared up the way I want but it wasn't available for any of my Bobs. Only one Bob has the same helmet I do. None have the same suit available.

You can dupe helmets and race suits the same as paints , if you re-apply another suit, the one you want goes back to the inventory, then duplicate it in the usual manner.
