I think it would be better if musicians start to deal with it. Some records out this year sounds like they made in 1994 :scared:
 
Rock isn't dead, just well hidden and you have to look deep in the YouTube to find it. Diving into to a more psychadelic or heavy metal sound try stoner rock. I can recommend Kadavar, Stoned Jesus or The Sword (the last one is a bit heavier).

I don't say it doesn't exist (the new Feeder's album is actually quite good for example) but it all sounds OLD, it's since early 2000s that nothing brilliant and fresh comes out.

Most recordings from around 1998 onwards have used a lot of electronic processing to achieve "perfection". I think that detracts from the sound.

Right. According to proponents, you're supposed to say "people with autism" rather than "autistic people" or "people of color" rather than "colored people". (Ignoring the fact that classifying people as white and colored is a broken concept in the first place)

Supposedly it's to avoid classifying them by an illness or feature, but honestly I see it as just another form of language policing and a desperate form of pandering to people who might get offended. Needless to say, the folks at Tumblr have adopted this already.

I guess it kind of depends on the impact of said celebrity(s) has had on some one's life.

To be honest, Prince hasn't had any impact on my life besides the song "Little Red Corvette," and I didn't even know he was the one who sang it until he died.

What my point is, is that Prince's death didn't mean a whole lot to me. My professor is a huge Prince fan, and has been his whole life. Too many people hop on the bandwagon when a celebrity dies.

People die all the time, just because they are labelled as "celebrities" doesn't mean they are more important than the guy that served me 2 days ago at a cafe.

Since so many well-known celebrities tend to be from around the same period, there was always going to be a period where they pass.

Also, I'll be honest, I never cared about any of the non-wrestling celebrities before they died so their deaths haven't impacted me (not even the wrestling ones impacted me much, I've moved on from them). I didn't even know Prince existed until he died.
 
More and more celebrities die each year because celebrity culture has only really existed for the past 100 years or so, so the one's that were big 50 years ago or more are now starting to drop off, and the ones younger than that are all on drugs which finishes them off nice and early.

Depends on where you live, the Northern Territory pretty much don't even have a Winter and just have a Wet and Dry season.

In my state, Winter can go to 5ºC. While the Australian Capital Territory gets down to the minus.

I'll wear a long sleeve shirt and jeans when it's sixty out, which is probably an unpopular opinion for people who live in New York. I enjoy Winter way more than Summer, but last Winter, we didn't get an inch of snowfall until early December.

I would be ecstatic if the coldest we ever made it to was -10C/14F. :lol:

The average low for Fargo is -19C/-3F, but that's before the winchill easily kicks it down to -28C/-20F.

Fifty fahrenheit in the fall and I'm wearing jeans and a jacket. Fifty fahrenheit in the spring and it's shorts and a t-shirt while I'm chipping ice off of the end of my driveway. :lol:
 
I always go for the Singlet or T-Shirt + Shorts no matter the season :lol:

Gosh! Same here every season change!

It was 60F Tuesday morning so I wore shorts (Thick cargo, because they are more comfortable than jeans and I was inside a lot) and a long sleeve thin sweater (My favorite outfit combo by the way! Possibly unpopular?)

But if it was winter going into to spring and summer I would want to wear a lightweight pair of shorts and t-shirt because it feels like a 100F out. :lol:
