Yes I did, and no Ai doesnt need to be changed. They dont bumop you hard and are easily avoided, maybe practice? Also, they can have a toggle option. ALL other games Ai bangs you they have damage, thats a Gt5 fanboy excuse. They can easily tone ot down for Ai but leave it for the player.
 
The seasonal events are going to make this game last a lot longer.
It must be really easy to put some new events there every so often. It will be an incentive to buy and try new cars and it will pose new challenges everytime.
I hope they'll update it often.
 
has anyone else noticed that you dont have to reload the races now after finishing them? you can just race them again right after you collect your money and experience.

yeeeaaaaahhhhhh PD, now grinding will be easier:drool:
 
So I get 1.000.000 credits and 1.000.000 XP points only for SS route5 5 lap event? Nice but a bit too much?

I´m at level 20 and have 68k points...

But anyway seems like an great update and the seasonal events are an great addition!
 
I quit reading a few pages back so sorry if this has been mentioned, but I didn't get the 5 paint items as a login bonus like others are saying they got. All I got was museum cards. Any ideas?
 
HUD off ! I am officially leaving work 1 and a half hours early to go see this ****.... also telling my gf to leave work early so she can go home and start the 608 mb download! hahah. SO HAPPY:)

Its not too much as the current Xp/Credit system is woefully lacking.

150mph+ 200ft. This ain't the dukes of hazard mate. Real cars suffer. Them tv programes have about 6 cars.

Please don't say the cape ring jump is normal. It's the one bit I hate about that track.

So getting pushed off the track, spun and then rammed by the rest of the field won't cause any damage.:rolleyes:

making a game too realistic is not good either................ its not real life. Its called keeping it wothin the confines if playability.

Again, other games have this no reason Gt5 cannot.

I guess it is due to the region of the game. I have the asia version, and got the 5 paint. However, we do not have the museum mode at all.

I just parked sideways acros high speed ring, under the tunnel and tried to block the a.i. as the went past and they actually avoided me!

But can you block them all and bring them to a stop?

Thats my plan for the timed enduro events. The way I figure it, if you can bring them all to a stop by blocking the road somewhere and be in 1st position, and then come back 3 hours 55 mins later and enjoy the win.

As far as I've noticed the timed enduro events just require that you be in 1st when the timers up.
 
In rally mode, map display type can now only be fix to track. Changing scale doesn't make any difference. The scale of the map changes depending on the speed you're travelling. It's still right in the middle of the screen, too :(
 
Nicee update I must say, can anyone confirm that the save file is now copyable to memory stick like normal unprotected games? Thanks.

All I said was to slow the AI down for the jump. Not really a major letdown.
I havent tried the jump online with damage, do you receive damage after a highspeed takeoff and landing? I don't know. Maybe someone knows.
 
I think this patch is the best proof that some people simply are here to bitch and moan, and nothing PD will add will ever make them happy. They call em trolls. Just ignore them.

On a quite brighter note, the patch is a very nice christmas gift. Looks like I'll play GT5 more than I planned in the upcoming weeks :D

It's 1 million credits and 100,000 XP for the SS R5 event.
 
Hi everybody.

I have installed the 1.05 update and tried to play the season event with the dodge. After 3-4 restarts of the race I was on the 4th lap and the car just stopped. The acceleration works (rpm is raising) but the car won't move.
(I play with the controller with automatic gears)
After that I cannot play anything. When I try to start the car just does not move.
Anyone else has this problem ?
