So, with the light bar being an option, can we expect the same when we get new cars on game that are safety cars?

I wouldnt try to look that far ahead, this is the first Safety car addition since when? If we still have the same format as now then It was only logical to make the lights an option in other, or make 2 cars but that makes no sense with the new "other" option to install lights so I would expect the same, but who knows when that may be or what number will be next to "GT"

Is it just the R8 GT3 or do you know of any other cars with the cockpit sound update? I just tried the s2000 and it sounds the same to me. That R8 LMS definitely has an upgraded sound compared to old videos of it though.

Expected the R8 lms ultra to take the Mercedes gt3 path: paintable and with numbers, such a shame tho
 
The update is great but I'm still hoping for the Evo IX to get a customization expansion. It needs those DU parts from GT5 badly.

My download is stuck at 83% 15 min left. It's been there for at least 20 minutes.
Anybody else has this problem?
 
The best update so far, although based on the words of Kaz that are approaching the most important updates to the GT6, I am a little disappointed because I was hoping for more cars and track, some more tuning parts for more not only for the new BMW. Suzuka looks great, despite the lack of night driving on west track, subaru viziv gt looks super hit the top three of my favorite VGT.

Keep in mind they were not delayed ;) they were not scheduled for game release and not given a release date, how can they be "delayed"? If the rumors are true and we get both in Spec 2.0 its kinda what many including myself predicted.

Id rather not step backwards

Bumper & Third Person cam never, Ive never driven a car with my head on the bumper or floating 5 feet behind the car, so me myself and I don't much care about anything to do with them.

Quite an update. Did the Sierra event and holy crap, it had rain :eek: It also featured nissans with massive wing, which didn't happen before. I then bought a M4 and did the customizations with the new parts and I love them. Just the black grille, M Spoiler and Front Splitter looked excellent. Just completed the drift event and have made a Continental Tire Race car out of it. Now I'm going to do the BMW Daytona Seasonal (which means its wheel time :mischievous:) and the VGT event. Can't wait to hear that in Full.

At sierra's i noticed that many cars had custom spoilers and the new nismo had numbers on, you couldn't add them before

Edit: noticed a 'cuda sixpack with numberplates, isn't that a standard car?!?

Still cant add numbers to the Nismo in Garage, must be only for the event car
 
I'm still at my college, rain falling so heavy here, so I can't go back to my house ASAP, cause today I came out with my motorbike. and I could see everyone talking about that Sub, it just makes me feel so curious :banghead:

Did 1+1 lap around Nordschleife in the Pace Car, first in rain and then during night. Here are my impressions so far:

The Pace Car is awesome :D The flashes casts light on the environment. You can see it when you look left/right/back but also in the rear-view mirrors! The only negative thing is that you can't turn the lights off.

Sound changes: I hear a lot more sounds from the road surface and from the wind. I also think there's more reverb. I watched a replay of a lap in rain and on one occasion when there was a lot of tyre squeel I heard a pretty impressive echo! I can't tell if the engine sound has changed because I didn't drive the M4 very much before. And just for the record, I have sounds settings on "Small Theatre".

Other: Maybe this isn't new, but on my lap around Nürburgring during the night I could see the moon in my rear view mirror. I've seen the sun in the mirrors before, but this is the first time I've noticed the moon. On the other hand, most of the times when I've been driving at Nordschleife in the night it's been cloudy, so maybe it's not new at all...

I dont care that you dont care. With unsettable FOV i cant drive in car. So this option is handy.

Because the option in question is not an improvement, its a step backwards. Like asking for an option for GT4 physics.

Actually, just lean your head over the center console of the car and you've got the position of the "bumper" cam.

If I smash the wind shield and hang from the windshield frame by my feet hanging head first pulling a gymnastics contortion to look ahead.

What your talking about is the hood cam, even that's not realistic. Really I only use those for replays as if I got a GoPro on the car, never actually driving. Always in car cam no substitute. Hood cam does have better BOV audios though lol

I kind of like that they've tried something different, but if an accurate sound is in the middle and current GT sounds are off to the left a bit, that is waaaay over on the right.

Still, it's more fun to listen to than a whizzy whirmobile, so I guess it's a win.

Its not far off to the right for a race car. Pretty good actually.
