Update 1.15 Undocumented Changes Thread

I am not sure if I can really call this a change or not, but here it goes:

  • The GM Design entry on the ingame VGT page, starring the teaser shown in the first VGT trailer, can still be seen despite the release of the Chaparral 2X. If I remember correctly, the Chaparral was more or less a GM project (resorting to GM's designers and the Chevrolet name), so it is odd that the old GM teaser can still be seen as a separate entry. Or was the Chaparral a whole different project altogether?
 
The time it must take to transfer 500 cars from garage to stockyard and then back to garage........well I'm pretty sure GT7 would be released before it finished the transfers. :lol:



I'm fully prepared for my virtual beating now.

If 2 minutes operation to transfer 500 cars to stockyard and back is too much , then ... :banghead:

Still , some quickfix from PD for those who don't have time to do that should be good:)
 
Just discovered that the car you use does not appear on top of the garage list !?
For example: had to go looking in the list and found it on place 277 with the key logo stuck to it.
The car I was using before, is now on place 285.

Just read PD is aware of the 0 km glitch and is trying to fix it.
Car order defaults to "Date Acquired" now, just select the "Last Used" ordering to fix it.

You must have a super stockyard. Just yesterday I transferred two cars to th stockyard and the whole process took nearly 5 minutes. To do more cars takes even longer.
 
Not sure if this belong here? But there are 3 new kinds of Seasonals.

First, a 600pp racecar, 10 lap "endurance race" (tire wear on high, weather changes). The prize is still a paint chip and credits.

Second, there's two "Sector overtake challenges". One in a Lancia Stratos, one in a Jaguar Xyadayada (the old racecar). You have to complete a sector of track in a given amount of time, but there are opponents in the way which must be overtaken. Still kind of lame IMO, but it's different. The prize is credits and a tuned version of the car you given for the challenge (much like the Sierra Time Rally events).

Third, is a "D1GP" Drift Trial. It's still the same format as the old drift trials. It is held at Fuji, on the 2014 D1GP section (as closely represented as you can get with GT). The event is only open to D1GP cars. There's not much actually different or special here, but the prize is 3.4mil credits and a tuned Amuse S2000 GT1.

Not sure if these are holiday seasonals, or a new format?

It is not really an undocumented change, as it was announced by PD beforehand. So, it was an already known change. As for the event themselves, I'd say that they are special Christmas events, with high level prizes and tuned cars.
 
So, a new bug I've come across;

It's happened twice in a row now.

When selecting "friends" through community, the game freezes, resulting in no option but a hard reset.

This never happened to me before, albeit did hang for a couple of seconds previously when doing this same action.

Perhaps you've chosen the wrong thread, the first page has the link to the actual 1.15 bugs thread. A valid concern, though, do not worry. It does sound bad, have you had this issue any more times after the first two?
 
Has the Open Lobby car bug been fixed? I am staying away from it due to that and lack of interest (not due to disgust of driver behaviors, bub). :confused:
 
Something I noticed right away while watching replays for photo ops,
When watching a replay, and skipping forward several laps, the screen would go blank for several seconds but you till heard audio and saw screen HUD. SInce 1.15 there no lag, it's immediate, much quicker.

Anyone else notice? Might just be my machine
 
Is it me, or does Willow Springs have even more foliage now? I don't recall it having this many objects.
Then again I play this game rarely, so don't take my word for it.
 
Resolved issues
- Fixed an issue wherein the camber angles of cars shown in the [Favourite Cars] tab within the [My Page] section of the [Community] area were not displayed correctly.


Not only camber angles fixed but also these...

1. Headlights ON

2. Front wheels in angle

Haven't tried it since, went through a different route (clubs > club lobbies) and it worked fine.

It just appears to be that "friends" tab in community that suffers.
 
Infinite VGT movie loss Japanese subtitle during playback.
Not sure what you mean here. Are you saying that the Japanese subtitles are missing completely from the Infinity VGT video, or that they are there in the beginning and disappear during the video at some point? Or something different?

The engine hiss sound is back, especially noticeable in front engine cars when looking at the rear view. It was absent in the previous patch.

This bug happened when you did online races, you choose a car for your first race, and then if you changed car for a 2nd race, the 1st car you used appeared to the other online players, instead of the 2nd actual car you were using. You had to exit and re-enter for the others to see your 2nd car.

This bug happened when you did online races, you choose a car for your first race, and then if you changed car for a 2nd race, the 1st car you used appeared to the other online players, instead of the 2nd actual car you were using. You had to exit and re-enter for the others to see your 2nd car.

I'm not having that problem, even though I've had a private 550PP race lobby open for 5 hours and 15 minutes.

This happened to me on Monday. So I don't think it has anything to do with new update.
 
I have read in other threads that camber may have been tweaked, making the cars handle better/have more grip in corners. Anyone able to confirm this? I am off to the hospital tomorrow morning for a week so I won't be able to do any testing until after I get back, that's the reason I'm asking.

Had to mess with camber on D1 drifters to get them to behave when i pushed it too far as in alien tune some weird things were happening as in weird i mean in a correct way. I cannot confirm this mind had little time with the update was mainly lightsabre powering round high speed ring :lol:. could be placebo to soon to tell.

What size boobs you getting for christmas :D soz to hear you going to hospital bro

I've read the same thing from a few people about camber but until it's put to the test it's just anecdotal. I'll create a thread for it if someone else doesn't, maybe it'll 🤬 somebody off who wants to talk about it here (that's you Jack if you're reading) and monopolize the thread with it. :lol:
