An update for Gran Turismo 6 has been released. The following is a list of the list of main features introduced:

Vision Gran Turismo
The LEXUS LF-LC GT “Vision Gran Turismo”, “Alpine Vision Gran Turismo” and “Alpine Vision Gran Turismo Race Mode” have been released.

After the update has been installed, the cars can be purchased from the [Vision GT] option within the [CARS] section in "My Home". Alternatively, it is also possible to obtain the cars by completing a lap (regardless of the lap time) in the new Seasonal Events, available only for a limited time.

The “Alpine Vision GT” racing suits and helmets have been added to the [Special Outfits] page of the [Racing Gear] option within the [TUNING & SERVICING] section, accessible from "My Home". The suits and helmets can also be obtained from the corresponding Seasonal Events, available only for a limited time.

Resolved issues
The issue regarding the "Championship" race found after installing Update 1.16, where it was not possible to resume a Championship race that was previously suspended while playing in "B-Spec" mode, has been fixed.

Lol you think this update includes Course Maker! Wait till the future update SOON.

Happy St. Patricks day even if i didnt know what the actual heck is it.

Was expecting slightly more to be honest but I'm not disappointed! The Alpine will be great hopefully.

By the looks of it, the "race mode" version of the Alpine is a separate car altogether. Was hoping for a bit of mixing of parts.

I don't know, I can't get on my PS3 until tomorrow :)

A few hundred of mb sounds more reasonable considering the VGT videos :p

Has anyone tried seeing if those air-brake flaps can be hit with another car or object. That'll be a pain trying to pass under brakes if the case is that they can be hit. :yuck:

Tried the car out really quick and the air brake went right through the wall on midfield. Would assume other cars would behave the same.

I get they're air brakes, but why put them on the sides? Putting air brakes on the sides of a car is such a stupid idea. Obviously they're there more for a visual "cool factor" than anything else. There's a good reason air brakes are always on the top of cars, because they won't, as NW48 suggests, be broken off when a car is alongside going into a braking zone, or when you use the whole track in a street circuit.

Edit* just saw they don't even have any collision detection for them, so they're a stupid looking flap that glitches through everything. That'll be great for replays then lol.

I'd imagine it's done this way because having them on top has already been made. Mitsubishi's concept car and the Pagani come to mind.

As much as I like the fact it won't hit any cars/objects, it's a shame they haven't taken the chance to implement a proper damage system.
