Well, if you successfully download the update, your backup will not be valid
Trust me, I lost my data more times than you could count between updates

The 86 12 model is heavier and has less BHP than the 86 10 model this is to offset the Aero package you can add to the 86 12 model..

What else did you expect? It's supposed to have stock specs, which are known.
