Now seriously...you could use them as memory cards for a Xbox 360. Sell them. Backup important stuff. Backup trivial stuff. Stuff them inside things and make a Teddy Bear/Ripped Finger/Toy Mobile Phone/Fake Poo USB memory.

You could just keep them and use them when you need them. In school? At work? Have dedicated sticks for each place so you don't get your files all mixed up.

Or put movies on them so you can carry it to your buddy's house and watch them on the computer.

I find that one can never have too many USB sticks lying around, keep them you will eventually need them for something.

Depends on the type of USB stick I guess. If it has a metal connector, yes it would spark. Although it is possible to get all plastic ones, and those would definately just melt.

Surely you can only get metal connectors? On the basis that electrical signals don't transfer to well through plastic.

Store music or videos or pictures on them, or gift them to a random gtplanet user, that or you could microwave them. No one mentioned cooking them in a oven or on a stovetop.

Plastic is an insulator, not a conductor.

If anything, just take a hammer to it and have fun. I had some real fun smashing a broken hard drive(the motor literally died) and it helped vent some anger.👍

I don't think all plastic usb sticks exist, it just wouldn't work, unless someone proves me wrong... Smashing it, and then burning the remains would easily relative stress.

To put it into perspective when I said all plastic ones, I meant ones like these:

The only metal parts on that would be the tiny connector tabs the bridge the device to the USB port. The PCB and case would melt. Although the chances of it being that kind of stick are slim. Anyway, moving on...

It is still metal inside. All the circuitry on the PCB is metal.

Turning it into a novelty usb stick is always something interesting to do. Or backup your digital photos onto it. I normally use mine to back up stuff like photos, documents, save games etc.

My flash drive is an inch long and an 1/8th of an inch thick. I have only lost that in snow for one night and found it the other day(it also went through a wash cycle). Good thing it's water resistant and now I keep it in my wallet. Mind you I have been using this flash drive for the past 9 months.

The thing I always do is a pat check on myself to make sure I got everything.

Any of you guys know of good Live OS I can put on it.

I want a live os with persistence.

So tell me what you guys recommend.

I am also changing the OP and will make list of all the recomendations so anyone else who wants a Live os on there usb can check it quickly.
