Looks like the update is landing tomorrow!

Either it's the weekly maintainance or just a false alarm. We had the same notice for the December update in Wednesday but the maintainance and update came on Friday instead. Either way, still hyped!

Pointless without the ability to upgrade the brakes. The R32 with max power (900ish hp) brakes worse than a train 🤬

If you're racing with a 900hp Skyline with its stock body, you're doing wrong.

For me, it's all about 1/4 mile drag setup

Coming to think of it, we need Las Vegas back.

I won't consider doing what I did with it racing Was more of a test and to surprise a friend on how fast (and cool looking) this thing pulls of when launching in 2nd gear

Upgrade tyres you mean. Most cars can lock the brakes if the game models brake fade then bigger better brakes are needed though.

That would make sense in my head... isn't the 24th the "birthday" date where GT is concerned? So the update would be 20 years and one month to the day, right???

There is currently maintenance on PSN (europe) for me so maybe the notification was localised if not everyone has seen it.

EDIT - everything now back up and no update for GT Sport.

Word. At least tunable brake pressure like GT5, brake balance isn't enough because it's concentrated fully on creating imbalance in car performance
