Update Problems

Hey Well, i just got gran turismo 5: prologue yesterday (ps3) and i attempt to get online, it asks "blabablaba, do you want to update now?" i press "yes" it begins downloading the content and then when its about 1/3 of the way it says something like "download error" "download could not be complete" etc, anyone got some idea of how to prevent this from happening?
