I am going to buy (perhaps...if there are no bookstores in the vicinity) some CD's this weekend. I am planning to make Radiohead one of them.

Which album do you recommend? Which is your favourite?

Buy them all. If you're just getting into Radiohead I'd suggest one of their earlier albums, The Bends and OK Computer are a couple good ones to get. Their newer stuff is more electronic but I like it just as much. I'd probably go with OK Computer though.

Yeah, I'd recommend OK Computer as a first-up purchase - it's a good bridge between their early, more guitar-based material, and their later more electronic stuff.

I'll 3rd the recomendation for OK Computer. That one get's the most air time with me.

Next up would be:

Kid A

Has anyone heard Christopher O'Riley's piano version of Radiohead songs?
Not to bad. Something different. 👍

Agreed. You do need to be in the right mood.

I also picked up "Strung out on OK Computer." It's a string quartet tribute to Radiohead.

It's good to, but like you said, one needs to be in the right mood.

I'm a fan of all three of the early albums: Pablo Honey, The Bends, and OK Computer.

Well. I ended up buying Ok computer and The Bends from Radiohead. Then I saw a 7 hour 6CD set of the 100 most popular Classics of all time for $20 (on introductory sale) and picked that up too. Not bad for one weekends work 👍

OK:

Pablo Honey
The Bends
OK Computer
Kid A
Amnesiac
Hail To The Thief

I think these are all their albums. I know you already have The Bends and OK Computer which are highlighted in bold. Next I personally recommend Pablo Honey (for Anyone Can Play Guitar) and Kid A (for the electronics).

well, if you get to be a REAL fan of Radiohead, I'd reccomend "towering above the rest", a 13 CD bootleg set wich features live performances from up to kid A, rare live versions, covers, remixes, and other great stuff. try to find it, you live in US (or canada) and it IS possible to you to find it.

Those are the two I would recommend. The bends got me to sit down and say "These guys are great" and OK Computer made me sit down and say "These guys are f'n BRILLIANT".
