Is anyone else annoyed that they forked out £150 on a G25 to play GT5, which will most likely be outdated by the time the game comes out. Also do you intend to upgrade to the G27? I will be real 🤬 off if the G25 is not supported in GT5, i mean it should be, it's a logitech and there current flagship.

I have no doubt that both the G25 and DFGT will have full support, and also believe they will have support for the now outdated DFP.

I kinda am, a bit. I got my G25 for christmas last year, but now that the G27 is coming out, semi blanked out expletive removed by mod

For a wheel with a price tag like the G25, they better support it. Otherwise, if I were the owner, I'll be piss for buying a wheel that costs so much and only to find out not too many games support it

I dropped lucky and paid £100 for a mint G25 a good while ago now on eBay ... previously [and still] the owner of a DFP too.

It is still by far the best money I have ever spent - I wasn't miffed when they released the DFGT and the G27 doesn't bother me either. PD will most probably support a large proportion, if not all, of the Logitech range.

I'm looking right now for a cheap new G25 and I own a DFP. I will wait to see the G27 before buying a G25 and I'm sure that the G25's price will drop when the G27 will be released. Anyway I'm sure that GT5 will support the G25 and probably other logitech wheels (DFP, DFGT....).

Logitech Wheel + GT5 = Hours of pure entertainment. :D

Any body else have a Fanatec Turbo S wheel and have also used a G25? I've got a Fanatec and I'm wondering if I made the right decision.

Progress is imminent, however i'm waiting until the g27 comes out to get a g25 because they're gonna be pennies. Then when i scrap that, get a 27 at a steal.

What's the point?, buying both at a cheap price will still probably cost more than only buying the G27 straight up.

If GT5 comes out mid-December and the G27 has still not come out and it's mid January, I think I'm going to buy a G25. ;(

Full support for the DFP and DFGT no doubt, but G25? I don't know, KY mentioned the reason why it isn't fully supported in GT5P is because it's not (and never was) a official GT wheel like the other Logitech wheels. I just hope they haven't dumped the clutch and H pattern features in GT5 because it's not officially a GT wheel, and there is yet no official GT wheel with H pattern and clutch.

If he knows it isn't supported and he knows that people want it to be, why do you doubt it? I am 80% sure the G25 will be supported.

It will be crisis in GT community if G25 or G27 is not supported in GT5. And would cost bad reviews. But I know PD is smart to know all this, 4 years development will go down the toilet if this happen.

and the end of the world will come.....

Even GT4 allowed the g25 to work (obviously no h pattern or clutch) and if by any odd chance we don't get clutch support then the others that complain about clutch cheaters will no longer have anything to worry about.

Infact have a look at this link to see the actual g27

Few things you can quite clearly tell

1. Pedals are identical
2. Shifter seems to be identical. No more sequential option though (maybe some hardware changes in the shifter but I doubt it. They couldn't be bothered redesigning the shifter unit.
3. 4 more buttons on the wheel and a shift light. Again no big deal.

So unless there are some major internal changes what is the point? It appears logitech has made little effort to change the wheel as it looks almost the same.

Plus why would anyone regret getting a g25. G25 has been out for 2-3 years now and there are many games to have used it in. Personally if I didn't have a g25 I would have probably not enjoyed gt5p half as much as I have and a few other games i've played I probably wouldn't have played at all without a wheel.

He said outright when asked it's not officially supported because it's not a official Gran Turismo wheel, so why would his mind suddenly change (I hope it does though). I am pretty sure it will be supported, but not officially just like in GT5P.

Like in GT5P, it might work (probably will) but that doesn't guarantee us the H pattern and clutch will work (like in GT4) because maybe they don't like the 'advantage' clutch users get and as it's not a official GT wheel they can just cut off that function freely.

No mention of it, but Logitec would be crazy not to update the G27 with a belt drive as this is the way forward, and this is what there main rival (probably Fanatec)uses.

I'm buying time, not convenience, a G25/7 is going to need a place to mount, so for the price of G27 i can get wheel+stand.💡

Then when the price is right...

The G27 has lights and 6 buttons. Not enough to convince me. I hope it has a stiffer shifter, I need a stiffer one before I break mine.

If the G27 comes out, it needs more clutch, gas and brake resistance. The gear shifter needs WAY more resistance than the G25. It feels like its broken and flimsy.

And possibly a handbrake, but that's just a bonus. Would be a nice touch when drifting in GT5 with a ebrake lever instead of pressing a button with your thumb.

If the G27 has the first two points I mentioned I'll definitely get it, since I only own a DFP.

I tried it for about 30 mins, and i found the shifter issue distracting because you have to consider it always, however i'll take a bit less leather in exchange for metal shifter\box and a wider pedal base.

what the hell??? I hope this is a joke. If there won't be a sequential shifter I'll stick to my dfgt or get a g25.

You can always use the flappy paddles. But racing GT cars would feel less fun. I'm sure they'd keep the seqential stick shifter. Wouldn't see why they would get rid of it.

it depends on cars and competitions, I love the feeling of sequential shifter.

Same here, I just wish there was more resistance >.<
I've seen many pictures and videos all over the net about customized g25's shifter and pedals resistance. When I'll get it I'll definitely do the same.

anyone have good links of only the good mod videos of G25 shifters?
