And I love how people with no sense of reading comprehension try to turn a simple question into yet another feeble America bashing quip. It gets tiring after a while.

The title of the thread is not "US server problems". The title is "US server problems?"

And the first post:
Am in the US and cant connect with the ps3 nor can I on the web. Am I the only one?

Yeah, the guy from Norway misread the post's original intention, but "(insert insult) Americans" is a pretty commonly used term around the globe for some pretty common attitude that many Americans have shown to the world.

Guess all this worldwide bashing against Americans is due to some reason...

Maybe a very fine mixture of "stereotype", facts, and a bit of envy (if that make them feel better) :D

P.S. Ask the French kicking out all Americans from their lobbies. (They can't tolerate the fact the they lost their imperialistic power to Americans like 80 years ago or so..., yet they justify their intolerance by saying: Americans only use English as if it was the only language in the world, and as if we were obligated to use it, (which is also true, annoyingly true)) :D

It doesn't matter if its about piracy or not. Matter of fact I would love to see Geohot actually beat Sony, BUT these hackers need to do something different to get back at Sony, not do something that affect users like me from being able to sign in my psn.
 
Strange... my PS3 will connect to PSN and to the GT5 servers okay - I use the webpage to connect and race my bobs via "United Kingdom" and am unable to login, I selected "Australia" and for some reason I can connect okay... how odd...

Not me. I would hope that wise guys like this would spend a good-sized fortune defending themselves before they eventually end up in jail.

Did you see the video of that guy making a full size replica of the Starship Enterprise? He's making the interior and everything. I don't like Star Trek or Minecraft but it's pretty impressive. Dude has to have no life lol.

Note: Not that wikipedia is a noteworthy source but The French Union, included in the 1946 Constitution replaced the former colonial Empire. It could be argued that the imperialism merely transferred from one ally to the next, but again that would be for the Off-topic forum

I've only been able to connect to PSN on my PS3 once in the past 48 hours :grumpy: Can't log on to PSN on the PC at all, and at one point, I couldn't even access GTPlanet but all other websites I visit were fine. :indiff:

Anyone else still having trouble with logging onto PSN?
 
I'm all for this group(Anonymous) but when they start f'in with my video games.... They lost major cool points.... First time I cannot log in to PSN: 10:34am edt
 
I'm also unable to log on to psn since this morning (Montreal, Canada)... Error 80710092
 
'Anonymous'(Group of Hackers??) have been DDoS'ing sony's websites and services like PSN, making them unreachable to users. They have been succesful in completely stopping users from Logging in, but it seems it is still possible every now and again, maybe they are only doing it at certain times of the day, I dont know exactly.

Its supposedly a retaliation to Sony sueing a 21 year old hacker 'Geohot', that showed everyone sony's security flaws.

Wow...that idiot actually succeeded in what he was doing? wtf...I can't sign in, why would he screw over all of us when we did nothing wrong, just because he is pissy at Sony.
 
My sign-in bounced me out 2-3 times an HOUR last night :(

I booted in safe mode and my new PS3 was corrupted. Its 4 days old! Its either from this or receiving the DLC Camaro

Slacker hackers. They made their point yesterday, whoop-d-stuff. I was able to remote race for over 9 hours last night, I guess while their mom made them go to sleep. Hopefully, they'll be grounded.

Yesterday, I could see their point.

Today, I await the mighty smite from Sony.

**** 'em. They stand for no one but themselves. Sony haven't been hurt by these attacks, only their customers. I hope their little hacker fingers are too delicate to hold on to the soap bars in prison and their 'security' gets 'compromised' daily.
 
I knew several years ago that a jailbroken PS3 would end up harming me and most other regular PSN users. Don't get fooled by their make-believe online propaganda: only believe in their scholarly criticized publications in real physical publications found in real world university libraries...I'll let you realize why that will never actually happen.
