Has anyone had any experience of the Vesaro rig. It looks awsome and though the motorisation system is costly the basic rig looks like good value. Any personal experiences of this rig would be interesting

I believe VVV on youtube will have a video on it. From the looks of it, its going to be amazing.

I used it very briefly on the Audi tent at sebring this year. Driving possition is good(sitting is too high for my taste), the fixed back seat made it really uncomfortable for me and the way it was set, the 4 DOF D-Box system is awesome and the overall looks of the cockpit is top notch!
I'm sure the seatin possitioning is adjustable and a more comfortable seting can be found, but if it was me buying I'd go for the reclinable seat!

Looks good and pretty similar with D-BOX but looks more solid and refined.

Too costly though as for 14000 euros that the full system costs you can a better system than that. For example the one from Czech Republic - 4DOF Motion Racing Sim which is providing up to 1G which is crazy for a sim rig.

I have a friend on this forum who is getting one. I'm sure he'll post pics and opinions as soon as it comes in. He bought a D-box from me for it, so he'll even give you dbox impressions. the Dbox gives up to 2G. I think he said he is getting it Tuesday.

Cool stuff mate, you might even have the chance to hook a nice CSW on that rig very soon 👍

Because this thread needs pictures!:

Extreme looking rig with extreme shipping costs no doubt given it is all welded together.

The only problem I see is at that distance (seat to nose) 1:1 might seem too small.

What!! 14,000 euros?? For real!? I can go racing for 2 years on that budget race car included!!

Nice looking rig for sure.
Stylish frame and will look lovelly.

Prices are just crazy though in the UK for D-Box
Approx £9000 for 4DOF, like gees really....

I do not get how these companies all pretty much do the same. They offer a motion sim at many thousands of pounds/dollars but lets look.

Add on a mid range £320 Buttkicker package and £220 Logitech speaker setup.
I just think the guy that has £9000 to spend on motion and £1000+ on a cockpit frame maybe has a bit more in mind for speakers/audio or indeed tactile than what you'd expect on a Playseat or common sim fan having.

Check out the specs of this for similar money to Vesaro's high end option...
Seems more built for "sim racers" than playboys too.

I'd get the Joyride A2 for 5 thousand, my next motion rig. Also supports the most games by far, and doesn't just move the seat. Best value at 9k less, with 27 degree of pitch yaw and roll.

But all of them you'll have fun with, too bad the entry price is out of most peoples budget.

Greeze I think made the best decision, getting quality actutors, apparently the best performing in the market according to SimXperience and their kits/models are the only ones to offer realistic traction loss.

That one you linked does it only operate at 100 times a second while theirs work upto 250 per sec if I understand things correctly. Simxperience do make a good point regards other sims that pivot the whole car in the centre but not like their additional traction loss support which independently allows the back end to become loose from the front and act like a car.

Well it looks brill on videos anyways and their 3dof is available for much less and about 1/3 the price these guys are charging for 4dof D-Box. Budget is one thing but paying through the nose is another.

Still the technology is interesting to learn/read about.
