Metal Gear Solid 2 for PS2.

There was far too many long and annoying cut-scenes explaining a very stupid plot. At once stage, I'm pretty sure that vampires were introduced into the plotline and I was just thinking WTF? Can't I just play this damn game instead of having to watch this nonsense? And the gameplay I just found frustrating. It was just boring and annoying.

A total waste of cash and I never understood the rave reviews it got.

I regret purchasing Brothers in Arms for the Playstation 2. I was hearing everywhere about how good this game was so i thought, why don't i purchase it - bad mistake. It takes ages to aim at someone and turn around plus the gameplay is extremely slow. Might have to try this game again on the PC but it is definetely not cut out for the PS2 in my opinion!!

I loved Metal Gear Solid 2, too. GT4, I didn't like it that much when it first came out, but it's definitely getting a second wind. Probably, due to the addition to the greatest hits, it's drawing interest again(from me as well).

Playstation 2
I bought a used copy of auto modellista for $8. It wasn't worth it.

Final Fantasy X for $15. It made me pretty much quit RPG.

Socom for $5. I still can't clear the first level. :(

GameCube
F-Zero X was $10. I thought I'd like it, since I really enjoyed the SNES one. I didn't.

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes. If you think the cut scenes in MGS2 was too much, you have never played this game. $35 for retread of the MGS1. 👎

Golgo 13, on the original Nintendo...
I think I still have that somewhere. Awesome game(for free). :D

I can't even begin listing the hours I've lost on the MGS series. When the demo for MGS2 hit my brother in law and I played it near endlessly until the actual game released. Insert MGS2 disc. Lather, rinse, repeat, addict new people as neccesary, condition with MGS3 for silky, glossy shine.

I have that stored cleanly in a large box with the other 150+/- NES carts

As far as my regrets-
Septerra Core on the PC. I can't even begin...
SODA Racing, PC. might try this one again some day
Septerra Core, PC
Dave Mirra 2, PS2. terrible control, simple terrible. absolutely adored the first one however, beat it on both the PS1 and the Dreamcast. I might be the only person ever who actually sat all the through it on the DC.
Septerra Core, PC
Rising Zan: The Samurai Gunman, PS1. why was this game made?
Septerr...never mind
Ehh
Deus Ex, PS2. Had very high hopes <--hopes unfounded
Rally Fusion, PS2. it has the Audi S1, doesn't matter
Tokyo Xtreme Racer : Zero, PS2. boring

that should do it for now

I have a friend like you. Sometimes, he gets tempted to sell them. I always tell him that their value could only go up!

X5.
The first one that springs to my mind is Tobal No.1 on the Playstation 1.

I actually liked that game:guilty:

I regret purchasing Strikeforce Bowling. It did provide some entertainment when I decided to take Gran Turismo out of the PS2. Oh well i got it for $5.

Enter the Matrix was a very disappointing game. Instead of playing as Neo/Morpheus/Trinity you have to play as two people who barely have any lines in the films at all. In fact, i can't remeber 'Ghost' saying anything in the films. The game was also very confusing, plus there was a sound problem with most of the cutscenes.

Fifa 2002 was another disappointing purchase. Good at first but the 'troll' like celebrations started to get annoying, also didn't like the fact that you couldn't make multiplayer leagues.

Enthusia. Not because I was bored with Gt3, but it looked promising.

Analog steering only?!?!?!?! Biggest waste of forty bucks ever!

WRC Rally evolved.
FIFA 06 ps2..
F1 98 ps1.
FF7.
Any championship manager game ive bought
Dreamcast
Shadows of the empire

Cosmic
Finally you realize that FIFA sucks....

Well, i have to admit, i had only ever played PES2 before, i was a FIFA person but i bought PES4 and loved it then moved on to PES5 and havnt looked at FIFA since.

MGS2, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Chrono Cross, Star Ocean, Xenosaga, Zone Of Enders 2, Gran Turismo 4, The Getaway, The Getaway Black Sunday, Driv3r, Doom 3, Half Life 2, Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, Guilty Gear X2, Mortal Kombat V, Capcom Vs SNK 1..Marvel Vs Capcom 1...

I'll finish the list later

I agree!!

GTR, not because I think it's crap, it just totally kills my PC (then again I did try to run it on max!).

Good dog! :D

need for speed hot pursuit 2 was horrible. Le Mans was horrible but i only payed 3 bucks for it most of the time i do lots of research so i hardly ever buy a bad game. the only reason i bought those 2 was because they were under 10 bucks

Well done. So far i've managed to convert three of my FIFA-obsessed mates to Pro Evo, but still my quest continues.

Hmm... well, I think buying a PSP and the rip-off games was a big regret. Thank god I could return it to Best Buy.

Also, The Bible Game for Xbox. What a waste of $20, I only played it for 10 long painful minutes. At least I convinced my mom to use her money since she wanted it...

I've considered buying a PSP, then realised i would probably regret it. The main reasons being:

Our family doesn't have a car so we walk everywhere, therefore there would not be any long journeys for me to use it on.

The games cost as much (if not more) as most PS2 games.

Most games are just PS2 ports and lack originality.

It costs more than a PS2!!

Halo1
Halo2-some what, i still have "some" fun on it ever rare ocasion

Forza- really because it was nothing what i expected.

Actually i kinda regret getting my Xbox in general... But Chaos Theory is alot of fun.

Dave Mirras BMX- fun for a little wile, gradually lost interest.

Tony Hawks Underground- Fun for 2 days... (after you beat it)

GTR- Kinda because i really just don't know how to get races going in it, and to change the number of AI in the race... It said up to 70 on the Box......

Universal Combat- OMG This is by far the most confusing game.... The End.

I regret getting my Gamecube- because i've played it a total of about 5 hours! Maybe 10, but thats it...
