Wow. I'm the only one that voted inside? 4 - 1.

...as for the Outside view because it looks good, I guess that's what replays are for...;)

i don't like outside...i gotta see from the front of the car for the best perspective. but then, outside gives the best view of the rear and gives you an idea of the angle u are at. but then again, i can barely drift

I like the inside better too because when I use the outside veiw it is hard for me to tell when Im supposed to start turning for a drift.

i dont like the inside view...when you try to drift when yur on the inside view, you cant tell when you need to countersteer, so yur drifts end up looking not smooth. the outside view lets you see your angle and all that, while the inside view makes it a LOT easier to spin out =[

I'm inside 100%. Sometimes I go outside for donuts, but that's about it. Outside view is delayed when the car changes angles, so you can't tell exactly what direction the car is pointing. Inside the car, you can always tell exactly what it's doing. You can even feel the subtle movements of the suspension as the car shifts weight. It's more realistic this way too.

inside... have to be inside... i can't judge distances out side the car... i wish for gt4 that instead of just seeing the road, u see the hood like in stuntman and LFS...

i wanna see vids of everyone that drifts outside.... i bet you'd become such a better drifter if u veiwed from inside the car.

yeah, it's much easier from inside, you're much closer to the road and can see when you're supposed to turn... from outside, it's weird, i get afraid im gonna spin out. But for replay, i like viewing the car from the outside, so sexy.

why the hell would you drive a car from 13 feet behind it? is that realistic at all? in-car of course, if you want to enjoy the driving experience.

I drift with the outside view and it has nothing to do with realism. That's just how I've always played GT3 and I find it to be easier. I could probably practice with the front bumper view and get used to it, but I've been using the outside view for so long, it would probably take a while. Besides, how realistic is it to drive with a handheld controller anyway?

i've tried both, first person views more affective in drifting do to the fact u can see the r0ad better, and the car doesnt throw u off. i just started drifting w/ the 1st person view, and i've been a more affective drifter since then.

and plus, when using 3rd person view u tend to overcorrect urself more when u see the car not cooperating. so the car's a big distraction.

definitely inside view. i've played this way since GT1 so im too used to it. plus i can see the line that im gonna take better with the inside view. outside view is just to akward for me. its all about preference though

The inside just because i cant see the corners infront of me in the outside view... Its also hard to judge how close you get to walls and cars...

I hate how in the outside view the car tilts with respect to you whether or not you are drifting... just looks weird to drive not in line with your car...

Inside. That way you can see how close to the wall/grass you are, and sicne I started usin' the inside view, my drifts got twice as good.:)

Seem like people drift in inside view more than outside view... im now drifting in inside view... i gotten better... im now probably 95% inside when im drifting...

ROll

inside all the way baby!! i used to drift and grip outside but after i got my wheel i said let me try inside and it is way better to me (even when i use my controller). At first it was harder but after a while it was better.
